"Why what? Ticked off - because she got a spook on her ass and now it's my problem to fix - and school, because if I don't get all A's I'm gonna be disowned or shipped back to Mother Korea for cram school or something." He flaps a hand absently. "But I thought maybe someone here might know how to whisper to things, and help me figure out a way to make this right." Lightly tapping on the ceramic.

A look at the Urn, "Afraid that's not within a realm I could influence"

"Maybe Frank? He's the Mountain. That means he's, like, the high troll priest and wizard."

He shuffles a little, looking unsure. "Should I really bug the High Poobah with something like this?"

"Shaman, technically, trollwise"

"Well, I mean, he's still just Frank?"

"Bug him," Jaymes assures Symon, "Troll or not, you're part of the fief. He'd want to help"

"Maybe to you, but He probably doesn't even know who I am." Something about this sounds like maybe Symon likes it that way.

"He knows of you at least"

He nods, looking a little unsure as he packs away the vase carefully. "And I have to do some research to see if there is.. I don't know, some ritual for appeasing spirits, if I can't just get her exorcized or whatever. Maybe she liked cats and I can just donate money to the ASPCA or something." A frown. "Great, a summer job. Just what I wanted."

"Can you burn ashes?"

"On Supernatural, they burn the remains to kill the ghost. Or add salt?"

"I could try... but what if I just piss it off further? Or it has friends?"

"I dunno."

"Mm talk to frank, can't hurt"

Re-shouldering his bag. "Yeah, guess so." Gaze trailing over to the stereo. "Oh, you got it set up? Cool. Not like I was ever gonna use that."

"Thanks for the loaner, by the way" Jaymes says as the stereo mention.

Hammering outside.

"Yeah, you can keep it. It was that or it went to salvation army, and why give it to some stranger if you like it?" He shrugs, leaning to peer out to see who is working on the house - probably some Troll...

He can't see them from there.

"It's... it's really nice." She chews on her thumbnail, shuffling her size-10 feet.

...perhaps 14 or so in her mien...

"Flash, aaahhhaaa" A lovely female voice, Tove coming in.

He leans over to give Dagmar a light kick in the shins. "Good. Then I can listen to it here from like, on the roof, and you can listen inside, and we both enjoy it. The acoustics in my room are shit and it would have just deafened me if I tried."

"Yeah?" An uncertain smile.

He taps an ear. "I can hear a mouse fart three rooms over." A glance to Jaymes. "Hey, did you know there's holes in the roof? Squirrels and rats might get in."

"That's being tended to now"

"Hey Tove..."

Tove enters in fully carrying food in a pic nic basket "Hi. I brought you guys a meal if you're..." She notices Sy "oh shoot, I'm sorry Symon, I don't have any food that you'd like"

"Ooo, what did you bring? Maybe there's something Sy could try..."

"Well, straight from Kerri's kitchen I have chicken" She says "cooked today"

Dag sniffs the air... and her stomach rumbles.

"How about I get that and the paper plates out" Tove says and brings out some spicey smelling fried chicken And a break is unoffially called

She doesn't have anything that hasn't been cooked today, perhaps to a certain Symon's sorrow

Dagmar turns down the radio a bit before settling down on the floor, cross-legged.

The food is not as good as Kerri's, but it's good. And espeically good if you like spicy.

Which Jaymes doesn't, and ie's clear he missed something "mm, Kerri should stick to her usual. Overdid the spices, lost some of the meat flavor"

Tove stiffens slightly "Kerri didn't cook it, though she did let me use her kitchen."

"I like it. It's spicy!"

He shrugs amicably. "That's okay. I really don't eat like you hulks do. Must be all the muscle - very inefficient. I use less fuel. I'm like, the tesla."

"Maybe we can save you a piece?"

Tove smiles weakly at Dagmar "Well, I'm glad someone likes it then"

"I can take a piece back for Lovecraft, if you don't mind that it'll reinforce her idea that you are an unending Font of Chicken." He sniffs the air, but doesn't remark that it smells okay - that might not be seen as complimentary from a sluagh. "She's on guard in case Caspar shows up again."

"I give her chicken ONE TIME..."

Jaymes slowly realizes perhaps he should try to correct course "Well, I don't hate it...and it's natural you wouldn't cook as well..."

He shakes his head at Jaymes minutely, making an 'abort, abort' gesture.

Toveturns her eyes again on Jaymes and her expression darkens just a shade "Thank you so much for understanding"

"I mean..." Jaymes notices Sy's warning gesture "Compared to Kerri or Sally Mae any woman's cooking would seem off"

"Um... Jaymes?"

"I don't think..."
