Brekke nods. "That is not a problem. Practice weapons break. I can make more, easily."

She hesitates, then, yes, gives five.

High fives exchanged, "Go shower and change tinto a clean outfit. That will start to stink after a bit . You okay? Had to be a bit scary"

"Didn't have time to get scared. Got mad when Siv was hurt..."

"Siv, you change as well, please. Both of you bring your clothes down here right away...blood sets if left to dry, so we must soak them."

"I'm goin'..." A sigh, and she heads for the stiars.

"She ripped one in half with her bare hands" Then her mom's intructions come down, and she nods "WIll do, mom" Then.. a brief hug, but not where the bloody side hugs and a whisper

The hug is returned and the whisper gets a grin. "Go, now."

"Okay" And she raises up "Shower after you do, Dagmar..." And up after the girl

"Proud of you" Jaymes says to Dagmar.

Brekke watches them go, then looks to Jaymes after they've left the kitchen. "There is more."

Once, and ONLY once he is sure Dagmar is gone all the way upstairs, "Where does the Hearth keep Olgar's whiskey?"

Upstairs, the water for the shower runs.

Brekke turns easily and fetches down a bottle from a high cabinet...which in a troll lodge is pretty darn high...and offers it to him with a glass.

"Thanks. " he takes it "I can't decide if I am more retroactively terrified or furious." He pours a glass "Maybe the 'more' will be the tie breaker"

Siv upstairs talks to the shower "Jaymes took that well"

"It wasn't as scary as the bug in the Brown's house"

Brekke sighs. "The last one spoke as it died. It said she would never herald her arrival. I think it spoke to Dagmar. I do not know whose arrival it meant."

"It was exciting though" Siv says "Least for me. You were amazing."

"Didn't think I'd rip it in half."

Jaymes takes a drink "Need to talk to Vali again. Whoever she is supposed to be 'heraldring', I think knowing more might tell us mroe. What I do know is if I find this guy? I will drag him alive to you for judgement. And ALIVE is all I will promise"

"Alive is all I ask." A grim nod.

"Neither did I... " Siv says "But please, don't apologize for it. I was honored to have you as a crewmate in battle"

"You responded well, by the way." Nodding to where Jaymes had stood with Dagmar.

"Ha. Crewmate."

Jaymes takes a drink "There's a pit in my stomach that's threatening to eat every thought in my head" He tells Brekke "But I knew if I yelled at her, she'd think the rage was her fault. That if I acted terrified, it might make her more scared of whoever is out thers...so.. I tried to stay..calm ,and when I felt that slipping, well, I found a bit of pride for her. That wasn't fake. By Thor, she ...and Siv, they tore up Tree Goblin CChimera that struck without warning? That's...that's amazing. they didn't even have the right gear and they won."

"Habit" Siv says embarrassed but chuckling "You prefer 'fellow Avenger'? I think tis copyrighted"

"Nah, I like it." Water stops.

Brekke nods agreement. "You were what she needed you to be. Well done. And she responded to it well."

"Well, crewmate tis then" " A sigh "Mum took my scar entirely. Atl east you got to keep one. How am I supposed to impress anyone all baby skinned?"

"I hope so," Jaymes grunts.

She looks out the window to the practice area. "She has a deep rage, Jaymes. You should have seen her face."
