"I know, apparently I am not allowed to 'google: sexy guy available' even with a family filter on." A sigh from Siv, but a bit of mischief. SHe does sometimes like testing her own limits

A bemused look at Jaymes. "Tove, hm?"

"hUh?" Jaymes looks confused "What about her?"

"Sure. I guess you could look for guys..."

"You were speaking of Tove storing things in the 'bonus room'...?"

"Guest, I meant guest," He says seemingly surprised at his slip.

A carefully controlled grin.

"Mm-hm."

Vali is being VERY good right now and keeps it to a smile.

Siv nods, "Oh sure. Music, and things to shop for, and so on. ANd that wikipedia is a godsend for studies."

"Let us get to it," Brekke lets Jaymes off the hook by redirecting their attention to the carpet yet again.

"Yeah, I've used it at school! Have you seen reddit? Or tumblr?"

"Heard about em" Siv says :"Kelly showed me a funny Tumbler post"/// Jaymes looks relieved ,and still puzzled, but is happy to focus on the

floorwork. The three older trolls are soon tearing out the section, perhaps at a slower steadier pace, but they're getting it done.

"Reddit, you can see ANYTHING. Like... funny kittens and people dying and everything in between."

"Seen people die," SIv says "in my dreams, left over from the trip I imagine. Brave souls, seen cowards die too." Siv ponders "Odd, Heroes and cowards, they both bleed a lot alike in my dreams. You'd think the former would have light shooting out with the blood or somewhat? Ain't that odd?"

"I will be happy to help you with the flooring as well, if you like, Jaymes. It has been a while, but I have done the work before."

"I've seen people OD." She shrugs.

"Actually," Jaymes admits, "I was hoping you would. Frank's already agreed to help some, but he told me you did a lot too and , well, I need experienced hands. THe more I can do with family and friends, the less I'll have to pay official contractors"

"Sounds nasty" Siv says "Do they shake a lot like in the movies?"

"Sometimes. Or they just nod off - hard to tell if they're just sleeping or sick."

"Well, Frank has more experience than I, but yes...let us try to keep the paid people out of this as much as possible."

"Poor lambs," Siv says, but without condescending, "Sounds a bit like being wout glamour it does."

"Stupid. Junkies are stupid. I hate them."

Vali says "That family of contractors I told you about does great work, boggans and pooka. Did they give you adiscount?"

Jaymes raises a brow at Vali, "you mean the one with that Beaver wilder daughter that didn't talk to you for a week and a half after samhain?"

Vali groans, "We settled that, and by the way, I was a perfect gent...as folks in their winter throes go."

Brekke clears her throat. "At any rate...whatever must be spent, should be spent to hire fae, yes...but let us do as much as we can as a group."

"HERE is where the bookshelf will go. And HERE I'm gonna get a stand for the Flyswatter..."

"Ooo grand, with the badger on the shelf over seeing things?" Siv says

Jaymes grunts "Thanks for that." A nod.

"Yeah!" A grin at the suggestion.

Brekke nods. "Family. "

"I named him Brock. Didja know that that's what that name means? I looked it up at school."

"Brock's a grand name," Siv approves, "Does sound badgeresh don't it?"

"It does!"

Jaymes nods, "I'm...learning what that means thanks to you, Frank, and... most recently Dagmar." A pause, "Is it normal to want to spoil her? She would probably resent being treated like a princess. She's a rough and tumble girl but, sometimes I just want to go that extra mile, like with the out door balcony"

"Though I'd rather be a Gryffindor than a Hufflepuff, I think."

"The Huffs are fine, but they're not the end all and be all of Badger lore" Siv smiles

A glance up at the ceiling, above which the girls' voices filter down, then she looks back at Jaymes. "I cannot say if it is true for all parents...but yes. I want to give Siv the world sometimes...but that would not serve her well in the long run. It is not an easy urge to contain, though."

"I am NOT a slytherin."

"I hear you," Jaymes says, "Better call them down for the food now. Let's wash up and then do that" He sems relieved that it's not just him.

Siv snorts "Never woulda thought it." a smile, "Now sometimes I like to tease Sylvi- she's sneakier than she seems"

"It was different with Jessica...she was so nearly grown when I first met her...but still, yes, the desire to spoil is there." Then she calls out, "Siv! Dagmar! Wash, then come have food!"

"Come have food " echoes upstairs, carrying just fine thanks to a now trained 'mother voice'

"Bathroom is this way!" She leads on.

Siv follows, "Oh you'll like the sandwiches"

Washing and snacking and chatting about wall color commences....

And soon the girls are down, and food is tackled as they join in with ideas along with the adults.

Dagmar likes all the bright colors. No grey!
