Frank chuffs.

"Oh, Frank...I know. I spoke with the Chieftain a bit, and...I get it. But I think you're doing the right thing. i just wish I could say it's easy. And...we're only dealing with thirteen-year-old issues."

A pause, and she groans. "Almost fourteen."

"Sylvi is a Changeling. So's Dagmar. Not to make this a one-upsmanship thing but.... we've got adolescence on top of Siv's... challenges."

"Well...yes..." A frown, and she whispers. "If Siv's not a Changeling...what is she?"

"I mean...how do we refer to what she is?"

"Shes' still kithain."

Frank nods. "She's Kith but... there's nothing mortal there. I remember, when we... when we came back....." He swallows. "We didn't know what would happen."

Kerri nods, listening.

"Then the Dreaming gave you a miracle"

Frank nods. "Yes."

A grin to Jaymes. "Indeed. But that must have been....I cannot even imagine."

"Well, I'm not sure overthinking it will help it."

"No...but your return was flavored by terror that you might lose her. I'm not surprised that that feeling keeps returning."

A grunt andn nod to Frank

Frank nods, a bit red-eyed.

"And she can't quite understand how that feels, either, so she can't understand what the big deal is." Kerri gives him a wry grin.

A glance to Dagmar, "Her record, she was so sure it would scare me off . I admit, it worries me, but not for the reasons I think she expected. Sounds like she might have stood up for herself once and gotten labeled as punishment"

Frank nods again, and sips his coffee.

Kerri sighs. "That would fit. Would also explain why she's so reluctant to say what she wants...she doesn't want to give the 'wrong' answer and be punished for it."

"I think she got some attention from a boy of one of the families and they were 'not our little angel she's lying'" He snorts "It's aa good thing i don't have certain evidence"

A scowl. "Well, if you ever get that evidence...I bet a certain sluagh friend of hers would be happy to pay the boy a few nighttime visits."

"Hell, I'd be happy to."

"Symon's got a bit too much sympathy for Thallian, but other than that, the kid is growing on me."

Dagmar pokes her head out from the closet.

He nods to her not sure if she's done or not and not pressing, but saying a quiet hello

A surprised look at Frank.

She emerges the rest of the way.

Frank shrug, looking away.

"How's Jess?" to Dagmar assuming she's off the phone

"Good? She said I can go to Tijuana."

Kerri watches Frank a moment longer, then gives Dagmar a grin. "Hey, you. Help yourself." She nods to the platter of snacks and the jug of drink.

"Anybody else want something?"

"You realize I'm going to want to escort you? " At the TJ mention

"I'm good, thanks, Dagmar." Lifting his mug.

"Siv is going."

"Tijuana's pretty rough, but it's beautiful down there, too. And I got a great tan."

A blink, and a look to Frank.

"Siv's not my concern," he answers, "But I'm not completely closed off to the idea."

Frank frowns.

"Siv's -my- concern." Frank agrees. "And.... we'll talk about it."

Jaymes gives a nod to Frank.

"It's a freehold, right? Like the Farm?"

Frank nods. "It is."

Dag selects some snacks... pocketing a few cookies... gets a drink.

"But not a Farm. It used to be a luxury spa."

"And to answer your question, earlier Dagmar, I'm good with the drink I got, thanks"

"Fancy. Okay."

"i'm more worried about the city around it than I am the hold" Jaymes mutters

Kerri indicates her own helping of snacks and drink to show that she's covered.
