A sip "mmm you know, Frank. Maybe you should see if there's some athletic activities Siv could join in? She's got energy"

And a look to Dagmar, "Hey, Dagmar, do you like any sports to at least watch I mean?"

"Baseball is okay? I went to a game once, in person."

"I got ice cream in a helmet."

"There's lot of stuff at the Y." Frank looks at the ice cream thought bubble over Dagmar's head. "Jaymes, yer gonna need a baseball bat, by the way."

"Mmm I enjoy a good game I I what?" He looks at Frank

"Could be like that movie, with the Peaches?"

"Bet I could hit real hard these days..."

"Not an easy thing to do though, hit a baseball not if the pitcher is any good. But yeah, if you made contact, BAM."

"She can hit bugs, bet she can learn to hit a baseball."

She puffs up. "Bet I could."

"Huh, " A nod "Not putting money against her, that's for sure."

"Maybe Siv'd play, too? Sylvi is leaving..."

"Maybe, like, a little league? Can't be too dangerous, can it?"

"I'll look into seeing if there is one. You want to give it a shot, you got it," he says then a thought "Ah, but you understand right? I don't want it hurting your grades."

"Only two weeks of school left..."

"Though... it might... I know it costs money to cheerlead."

"We'll find the money." Frank says.

"Yup. Now some of the stuff might be second hand, but still good. That okay?"

"Sure?"

She's a bit purple, all nervous excitement.

"Huh. Guess I better get my own gear so we can practice."

She nods, eagerly. "Sure!"

Sip.

"Maybe we could play here... or... maybe with the Farm?"

"Why not," He says "Sure the DeBukes won't mind if we use their spot for practice . But this is good too. " He ponders "Huh what's your favorite Baseball team?

"I dunno...."

"Not a must, just who knows, maybe eventually I'd get us to see a game"

"The game I saw was minor league, I think... ir was a couple years ago."

"As long as you had fun watching it and they gave their best game"

"Oh, yeah! I got to go with everyone else, you know? And Mrs. Pareo, she got me a hot dog... AND popcorn... and the ice cream, of course..."

"Mrs. Pareo had five fosters, and two of her own."

"Wow. Busy lady. Uhm, Dagmar, I got to tell you, I'm not planning on adopting any other kids. I hope you're not wanting a little brother or sister or anything?"

Her nose wrinkles. "That's okay."

Frank sips his coffee.

"Good. Though I'm sure Siv and Sylvi and Gerd will be happy to pester you enough to make up for it"

"Well, Siv'll be a cousin?"

Frank nods. "Guess I'll be an uncle."

"I mean, if you want to think of it that way."

"Is... is that okay?"

"Take the offer, more presents on yule" Jaymes advises

Straight faced

Frank nods, with a glance at Jaymes. "It's ok with me."

She blushes again. "...kay."

Frank nods. "Jaymes, I know we're kind of tight in here right now; you want to see if there's a spot we can give Dagmar for the time being, when she's here? If you two are serious about this."

"Dagmar, would you like to talk to Jessica?"
