Somewhere in Rivervale, dark forces linger! Shadows gather, and a teenage girl looks about to make sure no adults are watching her as she views a movie she was never supposed to see.

"Well, this isn't so... " Her eyes widen

"They're stupid? Why are they going towards that?"

"And why do they keep having someone split off... oh my lord, this movie things blonde girls are dumb"

Siv munches the microwaved popcorn by the laptop's light

Dag reaches over, snagging a handful. Munch munch munch. "I heard that this is based on a true story."

"Wow. I wielded a chainsaw, yyknow? In this video game come to life... but uh..wow. The blood did not splatter like that" Siv blinks

"Duuuuuuude."

"How much blood can one body Have?"

"Gallons. Jeez."

"No kidding, must have hit an artery, see how far it's flying?" Munch munch big eyes wince

"Oh, he's not gonna survive that..."

"but he is... look, walking around... like he doesn't know how hurt he is..."

Sylvi slips back in, with a refreshed bowl of popcorn. "What'd I miss?"

"Holy shite" As the slasher's latest ambush and Sylvi's return coincide "they got a hit on leatherface, but he's still up, and that's after he gutted someone with a chainsaw... now he's going after this girl. "

"Don't just scream, you ninny!"

Sylvi settles in, passing the popcorn. "I missed all the good stuff."

A wince. "Oh... gross."

"Oooh!"

Sylvi winces. "Bleh. Okay, this isn't going to end well."

She squeezes on eye shut, watching between her fingers.

"Wait, she's making a break for the gas station..."

"That's the hitchhiker!" Too loud, pointing!

"No!!"

"Oh, no, don't go that way!!!"

"What's she doin?!"

Then a knock at the door. "What's all the yelling about?" Kerri asks.

Siv tries to fumble with it to turn it down, but of all of them she's the least used to lap tops and it turns up...

A scream as the girl realizes the gas station propiertor is Leatherface's brother

"Nothing, Miss Kerri.." Fumbling "Nothing important"

"ohhhhhhh shiiiitttttt..."

"Oh shit!" A look at the door.

"It's just...exciting, Mom!"

A pause, then, "May I come in, ladies?" A polite request for the inevitable.

Sylvi gives Siv wild-eyed look and gestures for her to hide the laptop.

"close it, close it, close it..." An urgent whisper to Siv.

A wince and off the power goes"Sure, Hearth. Sure, just let us uhm..freshen up?" She looks for a place to shove the lap top

Sylvi rolls her eyes, and gets up to open the door a bit. "Sorry, Mom. We got excited and I spilled popcorn, so there was yelling...."

Kerri give the three of them a benevolently skeptical look. "I see."

"Yes, sorry we got loud"

"Hi Kerri."

"Hi..." she nods back to Dagmar, and looks at all three very innocent faces....and at the not-quite-hidden laptop.

"I don't suppose...you'd like to tell me what you were really doing?"

Sylvi bites her lip and glances at the other two...especially Siv, since she's oldest.

"Well, we did get loud"

That's truth.

"True. You did get loud." Kerri concedes this and nods...but waits.
