"mmm" he says "Could.. you do me a favor? One last favor before I go?"

"....Yes...?"

"I'm not a knight yet, so i don't have a right to it, but, I would love a token, something to show that I honor you and care for you. A ribbon or.. or something?"

She blinks. Nobody's ever asked her for a token before. "Yes, of course. I...um..." she looks down at herself trying to think, then realizes she's got her hair tied back with a bit of green silk cording. She pulls it loose, letting her hair escape the ponytail. "It's not fancy, but...will it do?"

"Absolutely, tie it on me"

"Please" he adds

She nods, and carefully ties it just above where his glass arm joins flesh, making it snug enough to hold tight but not too tight. "There." She rests a hand against it. "Think of me, while I'm thinking of you."

"I will," He says and bends down to kiss her once more

She meets the kiss and lingers in it...but then parts with a sigh. "You've got to go."

"I do" he sighs "If I become a knight, will you be at ..whatever ceremony?"

She nods, smiling. "I'll be there. As long as you dress up like a disco ball, again." A wink.

He laughs "I think they'll want me a bit more formal than that, but after, I'll wear anything you want. Promise"

That gets a mischievous smile. "I might have to hold you to that." Then a deep breath, a squeeze of his hand before letting go, and she walks with him back into the front hall.

the baron and Honoria awaits. "ready to go, Colton?" Honoria says

"I am" he says and he bows to the Baron.

"Safe travels, Squire Honoria, Squire Colton." Sylvi nods to both of them respectfully, but her eyes linger on Colton.

Colton touches the token and meets her gaze.

"It was nice meeting you, Sylvi, pardon, Emissary Sylvi" Honoria says, and she and Colton head out.

The baron waits until they are gone, and he looks at Sylvi, "You okay, young lady?"

Sylvi's been trying for a neutral expression. "Milord? Yes, I'm fine." A pause. "Squire Colton was very complimentary of the 'hold. He said he'd like to visit again...." Oh, subtle, Sylvi. Subtle as a brick.

"mmm and do you welcome his return then?" there is a sparkle of amusement in the gwydions' eye but he's polite and does not betray it more.

So totally busted. "I wouldn't object, milord." A bit of a grin.

"Then he's welcome to return" A nother sparkle "Not sure about Squire Honoria... I'll have to judge her on separate merits"

A quiet moment.

"She snores." A beat. "Just a little."

He nods "Noted. I used to snore. Found a solution she could try"

"Oh? What is it?"

"I grew a mustache. It muffles the sound. Think it would work for her?"

Sylvi snickers, then covers her mouth with her hand for a moment. When she has it under control, she says, "I'll leave it to you to suggest it to her, milord."

"Feel free to be around when I do...let's get back to work, Emissary. " He gestures in an after you motion

"Yes, milord." And she goes with him to start the day.
