I had a dr appt, then both pets had annual check ups at the vet, then we had a lunch on the run and home for back to back meetings.

I am apparently critically low on B vitamin, so I get monthly shots for a while.

Apparently not; you get B vits from animal proteins and with high cholesterol, that's a challenge. And a deficit of B vit can lead to problems with cognition. Which could explain quite a bit.
