How was the visit?

It was good to see my brother again. I couldn't stay long so Left early

I hope my sister isn't getting any grief from her husband for my choice of actions. I had just entered in when he tried to shake my hand again... I saw no one else about this time when he did make the attempt. Last time when he pressed the matter at Christmas, it felt like a power play. This time I just nodded and mnoved on by leaving him hanging.

It was very petty of me, but by god it felt good at the time

Now I did say 'nice house' and other compliments in general. But I'm not his friend and not his buddy and no all is not forgiven. I feel like a handshake would have been a lie.

I did have to go early, so I missed the cake but I gave my brother his gifts and well wishes
