My own family is a mess of very pale folks with rumors of Native American touches (But that maybe family fooling itself). I MIGHT be 1/32 Cherokee wit ha bit of blackfoot.. I might not. I have German American and Scotts Irish from a grandmother, I suspect a bit of Welsh and a lot of Anglo from my other sets of grandparents, but from one grandfather I am 25% Slavic... Polish is what I'm told. Great Grandpa was let loose from the Czar with some paperwork written in Minsk. Not sure the nation of Poland even existed officially at that time so it actually makes sense he'd head to America.
