yep, I banged it together with what was around and it mostly worked out well

Some of the best meals are made that way.

It's cute, the Things are always amazed that I can walk into the kitchen and 15 minutes later have a three course meal laid out from leftovers.

threw together a broccoli potato cheesy bake in the oven. But I had no sour cream and was gonna use greek yogurt but it went off, so I used coconut milk. I added some garlic powder and paprika to try to balance it out. I steamed the broccoli in the microwave and pre-cooked the chopped potatoes in the air fryer for 15 min because I didn't want to wait for them to roast in the oven, then mixed with the coconut milk and cheese and baked until melty.

next time will Definitely pick up some sour cream, the coconut milk was a little unusual and too soupy. But still good, after I ate a serving I drained off the excess liquid, tossed a little more cheese on and crisped it back up for a little while longer.

A rightous experiment.

I am doing a weekly meal plan for the fam, but specficially Thing2 and I for our cholesterol. 3 meals + snacks & desserts.

oh well maybe not the cheesy bake then 😄

Not EVERY day, no. I did have a slice of Swiss on my turkey sandwich today.

Sandwich thins multigrain, turkey, Swiss, lettuce, and smashed avocado on the bread w/a lil mustard.

It was tasty and felt virtuous.

Hheee! Right? And pretzel thins. I just finished a walnut and raisin snack and still have orange slices and almonds if I get peckish.

To be fair, I don't think there's been a Herc movie that held to the real mythology.

Well, I think the idea of Hera as his loving mother hits my limits. 🙂
