I had lasagna noodles, sauce, ricotta, parm, mozz, and random veggies in the fridge.

Eh. He was a little put out that some kids were recognized for some pretty damn significant academic achievement and school involvement.

I pointed out that next year he can get involved in high school and set himself up for more serious awards if he does the work. If not.... don't complain about not getting awards.
