Feeling accomplished that I'm managing to eat breakfast this week. NEXT week.... eat bfast at HOME.

MMmm.... less bacon, actually. Thing2 and I have a touch of high cholesterol and for HIM that's especially troubling so we're teaming up to fight it.

LOTS of oatmeal.

Yep! And I've come across a weekly meal planner with snacks and such that's making it easier to put together. All the joy of life has not fled in the face of the diet. We're easing into it.

I really need to organize myself a bit too.

I made/brought a lunch today, part of my work with Thing2. It's a rice noodle bowl, pork and pineapple. I overpacked.

Rice noodles, shredded cabbage and carrots, cukes, pineapple, snow peas, honey roasted sliced almonds, marinaded pork.....

Well, that is much healthier than my spaghetti left overs

Likesay, making the effort. Thing2 is not the MOST excited person about setting up his own food. He'll happily eat crap if it means less effort for him. So I'm trying to help him help himself.

Very true. So I coordinated communications b/w all fam and kept an eye on traffic cams and FB posts for the afternoon. They got all the suspects in custody.
