I have a weird experience to share.

So... ok, the recovery part of the surgery is going well. Scar healing up, more mobility, flexibility... good.

On the left foot, the one that had the surgery.

So.... now..... my RIGHT foot is registering discomfort, paint, tightness....

Odd. Sympathy pains?

Let's flashback 4 years ago; my right foot was increasingly painful with I-didn't-know-what. I used a cane for a bit, Then it just became a hard, painful, dull, throb; but that was life.

The condition progressed until it was the LEFT foot that took the brunt of effort and needed help. And now it has it.

And now the right is going "Hey, not to be a bother but you know this does, and has ALWAYS hurt.... I get it was drowned out... but... hey? Help?"

Coming up after that, my left elbow BUT.....

Yeah, discovering pain that you no longer have other pain to mask is discouraging.

Right????

Although I'm not discouraged; I'm excited. FIX SHIT!!!

I wish I could be as enthusiastic as you, Shady. My gut has been bothering me again for the last few days, but I'm reluctant to go see the doctor about it again if they're just going to force me to have blood tests and IVs and then tell me, oh, it's just gas. :face_with_rolling_eyes:

I get it; my issues are tendons and muscles and such. At least, on these issues.

I know why my gut is mad at me. I can fix it, but... not just now.

well..... I bought WAY too much at Costco and the soup ingredients wouldn't fit any more.

and I thawed them out earlier in the week... squash, tomato, chickpea, and wild boar sausage soup

I wish I liked soup. I think I had too many experiences as a kid where my mom tried to trick me into eating detested vegetables by putting them in soup.

Well I totally DO use soup to sneak veggies in

I bought a choice Chuck toast and top sirloin to grind into burgers, a crudités platter, Brussels sprouts to raise with taters and a cheese tray for weekend BbQ

Now I am realizing I simply assumed people would come over because we are in a city and have a deck and grill

I sure hope we have people to feed :rolling_on_the_floor_laughing:
