Yesterday was traumatic.

I did not send the Things to school today. Kept 'em home.

Decided that somewhere around midnight-3.....

Well, I got Bianca to eat something

Put new sheets on the bed, so she's back there

are the things sick? And, uh. Isn't it like, Summer?

The Things are not sick, thank God.

Today's the last day of school. Yesterday we all went to the GolfBall and they got to ride a brand-new ride that's not open to the public yet! Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. And then we walked around the park (well, I was pushed....) and had dinner at the German pavilion, which is ALWAYS a fav.

The Cast all the way through the whole day were absolutely wonderful to us, hooked us up every way they could.

I got to see some of my fellow :female-police-officer::skin-tone-2: :female-teacher::skin-tone-2: too! Coworkers I haven't seen in a month. And my :female-police-officer::skin-tone-2: on the job recognized me and made super-sure they did a good job, which was nice.

And then towards the end of the day I made the mistake of checking the news.....

((sigh)) And sometime this morning I just couldn't bear the thought of sending the Things to school.

Yeah, no

I am glad most of yesterday was good

It REALLY was. A special ride, treats, drinks, a very tasty meal in a special place; went there on our Honeymoon, and we've been in and out of Germany enough to have great memories.

Everyone got to take a turn pushing me around!

Also, they have an eye dr appt this afternoon and then swim lessons so....
