As for B... she has a habit of intruding on her daughter while working for small things. She came by again. To be fair, she really did need something. But apparently didn't like me mentiong her daughter working . Came by later with one of those 'Thanks But... 'lead ins.

"I want to thank you for looking out after my daughter.. BUT..." and goes in why I am wrong, she is right etc.

Seeing where this is going, I say "let's talk in your room"

I tell hre she was absolutely right, BUT since he has brought it up, she has made a habit of either forgetting the time, or ignoring that folks are worrking at a JOB. So yes, I do try to remind her of the time.

I'd take the outright hostility over the fleece lined passive aggressiveness
