I think I will make a pecan pie today

I have never made a pecan pie. It shall be MY GREATEST ADVENTURE.

I have Many Things to make.

Well, maybe not many, but Some Things to make.

Dinner tomorrow isn't until 4, so I'll make taters early in the day

Pumpkin Pie (starting with roasting the pumpkin), Apple Pie, Cranberry Relish, and Roasted Butternut Squash. 🙂

And we found kosher sausage at the Romanian butcher, so we can make sausage stuffing (dressing)!

Does Olgar deep-fry a turkey? For some reason that seems like a thing he would do.

Oh, the Deep Fried Turkey is certainly part of the Rivervale tradition. Olgar deep fries, Frank does one on the grill, and Kerri uses the oven. She cooked an Emu in there once, but it was a bit annoying, so now there's just multiple birds.

Okay, so I was a bit nervous about trying to make my sister's cranberry relish recipe. I figured it would be finicky, because it comes out so nice.

The recipe:
Cranberry Relish

1 package (12 oz) fresh or frozen cranberries
1 medium orange
3/4 to 1 cup sugar (or Splenda)

Slice unpeeled orange into eights, remove seeds.
Place half the cranberries and half the orange slices in food processor container, process until evenly chopped. Transfer to a bowl. Repeat with remaining cranberries and orange slices. Stir in sugar to desired sweetness. Store in refrigerator or freezer.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups.

No doubt. I'd like to have Kerri speak with her at some point during this, if she re-emerges.

It's funny because Piper is actually innocently seeing Adam around at the moment, with no ulterior motives. She doesn't like the way the sidhe are eyeing him. RAE thinks that they see something they recognize in him. PIPER thinks they may just be eyeing him as a cute kinain that someone could make off with like a new toy.

And both are right
