and while the script was a muddy mess with too many ideas, it moved fast enough that you didn't get bogged down and had plenty of action to enjoy

Also he went to see that sick kid and they had a hellboy day where both were in full gear. I mean, darn.

But good to hear new guy is nailing it. I had heard bad things about the script

muddied plot, too many plots, hard to get invested even though the stakes are big

..and, oddly, too much swearing for my taste
