The Finger Dancer - A hearing child born of deaf parents , you made up your mind a long time ago not to be just on the side line of your parents world, the only world they could truly call home. You learned to sign right along with spoken English. There was power in oral words, poetry, song you learned that, but it felt like only half of the music- like dancing without moving your legs. Then, when you tried out for the school play, you got a most unusual assignment, to translate for sign! The school probably expected you to just make the signs, but that felt like reducing passion to mere information. So you practiced, you didn't just move your fingers, you made them dance to show all the passion the actor's expressions could, all the depth of vocal tone in every gesture! It was what helped break you out into your satyress self, and you've been a finger dancer ever since. You move and sway as your hands are in play, your hands can be sarcastic, they can scream raging, or whisper with a haunting beauty. You are a performer to those who do not hear, and you delight in the beauty of a unique language.
The Philosopher Stoned- Sure, you enjoy a little dabbling in herbs, you make a mighty fine blend, but that's merely sauce for the main course that is your passion. Philosophy, the love making where reason and passion alike conjoin where mere science can only blink uncomprehendingly, and physical action stumbles. What is truth? Why are we here? Are good and evil real, or just constructs? You enjoy making folks consider other views, and encouraging them to think their own views through. Sometimes it gets on their nerves, but you can't help your passion right? And whether it's for good weed, good advice, or a good conversation, a lot of folks know you're the one to turn to.
The Fall Goat - You were a goat without your passion. Acting was fun, sure, but there was something lacking in theatre by itself for you. Where was that edge, that risk? One day you got a gig on a student film... and someone said that phrase that changed everything "No we can't do it that way, it's too dangerous." You begged to differ. You took a chance, the scene worked better ,and you discovered that while you were a decent actor, you would make a great stuntperson! You threw yourself into the work, too classes in everything from pratfalls to how to handle being set on fire. That was your passion, making the actors who played the heroes look good, making the death defying look easy! You've been blown up, punched, thrown off buildings, and more... you're a mix of thespian, gymnast, and escape artist! It's work that could kill you. And you love it!
