As well they should, since the owners pay them. I get that. But in the absence of conflict or malice, you treat people right. For that matter, in the presence of conflict and malice, you still do.

I've had good landlords - but my experience with managed properties tends to confirm that renters are not who they care about, even if, dammit, the owners pay mgmt with MY money
