She is sitting on my hip and trying to nuzzle my face. This is the thing - cats manage to somehow be adorable, affectionate and ANNOYING all at once

I think the next cat we get for the house is definitely not going to be mine. One of my Housemate's has called dibs.

She gets to pick the cat if/when we get one

but at the same time, often with no warning, Zipper, a somewhat aloof queen in her kingdom, would slide up in her lap, 'nose touch her' and get affectionate

often when said housemate was feeling a bit down.
