Sometime after 4 in the morning, B.'s poodle is barking her damn head off. Over and over again. Waking me (and another Housemate) up. I go upstairs, see no one has been robbed and start to fuss at the poodle. Then I hear "HALP" from the hall way. B. got up, at 4 in the morning (or maybe a bit before) to get a Dr. PEpper..and fell. And was calling for who knows how long. SHe's a night owl. I get that, but getting a dr. Pepper at four in the damn morning? Head desk

And, She wants her daughter woken, and that happens and everyone is up, and when it looks like B's daughter and said daughter's husband are tending to her, I go to apologize to the poodle who actually did what she was supposed to do.

my housemate slept through this, but then B has her TV going, and my Housemate often has her own entertainment system going while she and her husband sleep. So despite the fact right down the hall, that's two doors and lots of background noise. Still, my B's daughter probably feels like shit.

Well, probably right, but barring a lotto win so we can arrange proper care and facilities, it's pretty much out.

And I feel like a rat bastard, because I resent the fact this woman didn't take care of herself despite her kids pleading with her. She didn't just get old, though yes, that's a factor. she would stay at her house and never DO anything. She might drive, but she let herself waste away, didn't eat properly, never excercised, and even when asked to do things of that nature... nope. Fuck you all. She's living HER way.

If she is so broke, she should qualify for a medicaid waiver.
