Anyone have good recommendations for noise cancelling headphones? I got a loud talker moved in next desk over at work. :P

I am serious. I can't hear myself think. I'm trying to decide between two front runners now, but I really wish there was a way to try them on first. :P

The modern portables have better over-all reviews, but also say that there's some sound leakage, and they're noise isolating instead of cancelling. The Philips aren't as fancy, but may do a good job (perhaps better at noise cancelling) and are a bit cheaper?

The phillips are also back ordered on Amazon though. Sigh.

I'll check when I get to work, but the two I saw were marked down to $29.99 and $39.99 from $80 and $90.

The cost isn't so much the issue, as making sure that they have the features - noise-cancelling, wireless (Bluetooth that can sync to 2 devices) microphone and over-the-head (not in ear or behind the neck)

These were over-ear, active noise cancellation, not passive.

I agree with that one too. Not a small state, and it seems kind of divided in half already topography wise.

(I say 'seems' because I only drove through it once so I don't know as much as someone who actually knows the state)

Mine was new and 4th gen for ~$1K, BUT that's with the keyboard and YES you will want a keyboard/cover.
