PUdge mutters "I GAVE it to her, what was I thinking?" He reaches for the eye and wrwaps it up again then looks at the childling "Poor dear"

"We'll get her taken care of. But, for now - we'll want her tied up, and probably gagged."

Symon goes to the only visible exit, the door, and (gasp) opens it

She gently pets the little girl's hair, unhappy about the situation.

"You did it to save her, AND me" Pudge pats Dagmar on the shoulder or elbow

"We're getting her out, yeah. Poor kid."

A look at the eshu, who had been sent to focus on the cabbage earlier.

(Symon) Symon finally sees his quarry, heading this way.. he has a moment to react. Dart back in the bedroom of mirrors, or hope he can hide in this less roomy but non meirrored hallway? Or..something else. He might be able to ambush the 'holy mother'

The Eshu seems caught in that spell still.

Pudge looks over at Majestix "I know what might snap him out of it but it's kind of mean. He will go nuts if you tell him some bad plot line from a movie or novel or the like is actually 'great'"

Dagmar is working on securing the pooka - sacrificing one of the spare under-tunics from her pack for the cause.

"Oh, like how PALPATINE JUST RETURNED, and RAE WAS HIS GRANDDAUGHTER?"

"Best part of Star Wars!"

The hallway feels tighter with each breath Symon takes. The Holy Mother’s steps are a predator closing in on prey. Alone, with no Dagmar to watch his back - the mirrors might be a place to hide, or a trap. The hallway closes in like a coffin. In a split second decision, he chooses the MIRROR ROOM and calls up his Autumn art for Creeping Shadows, dimming the area so that there are spooky reflections and ghostly images caught in every mirror.

He hides within his own shadows, behind a mirror if he can, and lays in ambush.

(Dagmar) The Eshu helps with another cabbage then stops then... "What? Are you kidding? That .. that abomination of a trilogy makes the PREQUELS look good by comparison and those weren't gems. The Last Jedi butchered Luke's character developement, but oh, did they back track way too hard for the third, this is what happens when you don't finalize and test the writing before you make the movies, but no, Disney just got greedy 'somehow palaptine returned' my ass"

"AND he's back!" Pudge grins

"So he is. Good."

"Not good, let me explain to you why the story falls apart completely no less than three times" Majestix starts to explain then pauses "Who are you?"

"Beldame and Gutter are out. You feel up to running a brainwashed pooka to safety? If anyone would wind up in the right place at the right time, it'd be an eshu."

"Give her to me" The Eshu says "I just need a ladder or something and I'll try anything" Reckless and ready

"I got something even better. Otho gave us balloons."

"That nocker? I'll be damned. I thought he was crazy" Majestix nods "Tell me how to use them and I'm off with Goldy" A worried look "I may have to gag her though"

She nods. "Unfortunately, yeah. I hate it too."

"Don't have the arts to make her sleep, or the like." A grimace at the purpling bruise on the pooka's chin.

A heavy sigh. "If you know nowhere else, find Rivervale. Tell them Dagmar sent you, and you'll find welcome."

"Wait, the Dagmar? " Majestix arches a brow "The hammerstrike?"

"Uh, yeah, Dagmar Hammerstrike."

"I've heard of you, guardian warrior of Rivervale, protector of the small. A hero, here." A smile "Well, at least I get a story out of this if I can remember it. I will repay you" He grabs the girl "We'll be off then with this device"

"I hope to hear it. Get both of you safe, and far." She hands over the balloon-lifter.

And he is off, THEY are off.

Pudge says "Heard of you too, gossip is you're kind to kids"

A soft sigh. Four of six.

"I mean... they're kids? You from Gardens?"

"Got family there who have friends in the area. Ever hear of Anne Marie? She's a liam knight, really nice lady, my mother and she wree in the great covid baking craze .. it was an online thing of course"

"Oh boy do I know Anne-Marie." A pause. "Shit, is she my mother in law now?" Blink.

"If Majestix does land at Rivervale, I know for a fact that Anne-Marie and Judas will get Goldy taken care of."

"Good, we're all a mess" he admits "Now, I wonder what your friend is up to? Or Derva for that matter?"

"Not sure. We should look for them. There's one balloon left, for you and her. I have a rope left above to climb out. My friend sticks to walls, so he'll be fine. Worst case, I think I could carry someone up on my back."

"Mmph" Pudge frowns "Dont' like leaving the heroes behind"

A soft huff. "And I really, really hope the mirkwood puts the Beldame back in her head like the blood did for Gutter. I gotta have faith, right?"

"Well, if you wanna wait at the top - we gotta seal this place, after."

"Can't just leave that trap in place."

"It's hard having faith, REAL faith, nt this brainwashy thing... but yeah, you just have to trust that bad as it gets, there's good ahead too"

"Hard, sometimes. But yeah."

(Symon) shifting shadows with the magic that can turn even a fully reflective room spooky, and thankfully shadow filled, Symon hides as best he can; fortunately his best is pretty damn good. He hears Holy Leader Constance step in

(Symon needs to make a stealth plus Dex (When Rae gets back), and need TWO successes to get ambush and avoid being detected)
