"Quite sure" he nods "That one is called Smokecarver by some, others refer to it as the Bane of Ghosts . Use it well."

"Now that is done...." The Duke smiles "If you'll allow me to..."

"AH, pardon" Tziporah interupts "While she wasn't here to stop the SECOND Balor, you did speak of restitution to my sister?"

A brow lift "Did she wish a weapon?" He stops, cautious.

For a moment, the Eshu looks tempted to snag 'taster' for her sister, but then looks to August "I think she would prefer something besides a weapon, don't you, Baron?"

"I do." quietly.

"You two know her better. What would make amends by way of gifts?" The Duke says

"We -did- come here with the intent of seeing your libraries, Your Grace...."

"Of course, please, follow me then" The Duke says and leads them there. Of course, August already knows the way, to at least one.

He doesn't let on, though.

With ALL the library opened to him and in decent light, he can make out so much more. It is clear the Duke respects books, even if they are not his first love. "What does she fancy? Fiction or non fiction or the in between?"

"I would not speak for her, but her tastes in reading are broad and wide. Is this your only library, Your Grace?"

"Certainly not," he smiles "We have two smaller ones as well. Mind you, this is a dougal hold so sciences, crafting and engineering are of particular interest to us"

"Might she have permission to visit these as well?"

"Yes, she will" he nods "That is only fair after what Nathair did" He says

"I would value knowing more about him, and his situation. And... I did say I would speak on behalf of Goodfae Darespark."

"GOODfae" Tziporah scoffs

"You did," A nod "And granted. But it grows late. Perhaps on the morrow?" he suggests

"As you say, Your Grace." he agrees.

"I shall have time scheduled for you" he says "Security WILL be tight. Miss Tiziporah, I would meet you as well. I know Eshu like to wander, but there maybe a position for you in my court if you're interested. We'll discuss it later though if you will" And with that he departs.

Tziporah blinks "A position in the Court?" then she looks at August "how did that happen?"

"Fortuitously."

"you're the one who messed up Nathair's shot. I just got it out of her artificial arm" She observes "Court.. .ccourt, but I can still wander? Oh wow. "

August shakes his head ruefully, and glances about to see they are alone?

They are.

"I almost dropped my sword, and when I retained it nearly skewered those around me. I came close to causing as much damage as Lord Nathair."

"But you didn't" she reminds "And unlike Nathair, there was no hate guiding you. It counts ,August. What's inside? It isn't ALL that counts, but it does count" She assures him "Sis would say the same."
