Still workinng his bunk, the satyr makes a shush motion to the sluagh, a true irony in that turn of kith roles, and then....

Brekke keeps an eye out on the surroundings.

Symon hunkers down onto his haunches, brooding over his thoughts as he waits.

He frowns as the webs shows darkness.. but odd lights...

"I can't make shit out worth a damn wherever she is"

"Dark?"

"Is it possible for me to see?"

She doesn't seem offended by the language.

Symon can...his night vision perhaps shouldn't work this way, but there somehow.. ah, the web was a gift

And the web is handed over gently

Symon sees it.. something that looks like a wall of 1960s mlitary computer but with steam punk touches

as a spider crawls along it

And on the otherside? Cheap stone work pastached together

the spider moves between two surfaces

Leaning in, a hand on Zane's arm to keep the connection, he quietly whispers, relating to the other two what he sees.

Then suddenly, there's a surge, a pop of electricty.. 8 legs twitch...

and the cantrip ends

"No!" He hisses.

"We have to go in. Now."

"I think a trap caught the spider... there was a crackle... electrical? If she's still alive..."

"Okay.. uhm Chief?"

"I told her we would save them. She has my word..." He protests in a whisper, against Brekke possibly saying no...

Brekke grumbles, and turns off the Jeep. "Before we go in -- you are both quicker than I am with your cell phones. Symon, you text the Mountain, tell him that Hackensack is in trouble and we are going in. Send reinforcements. Zane, text your father, have him contact his former student."

She is getting out of the Jeep.

He taps at his phone, then nods to the Chief. "Sent."

Zane is texting "Won't that get the chancelier on trouble?"

"More trouble than she's in now? Doubtful." Symon whispers.

"What about her kid?"

"Fae, or mortal?"

"Do you know where the kid is?"

"If we don't, we can't waste time worrying about him now." Bluntly.

"She gave us the address. That was no accident."

"Yeah.. if the kid is a hostage, I.."

"We know that a fae is in danger, or possibly dead, now."

"She referred to the wall, more than once. It can be gotten to from inside, Symon."

"The spider got there from where you met her," she reasons.

"I can't promise I can get to where a spider got through. But I'm more likely to fit most places than you are."

"Yes. It will be greater danger to you. Be wary of traps."

"If you approach from within, and I from the front entrance again...."

She looks to Zane. "You can drive?"

"Yeah" He says

"Drive through the fu.... front gate?"

She shakes her head to Symon and tosses Zane the keys. "Get to the house. See if the boy is there. If so, tell us, and do what you can to get him to safety."

Symon nods and slips back over to the building. He checks around to see if any other methods of ingress seem plausible, before heading to the chimney again...

Zane drives off to save the day for the boy, hoping he doesn't shit himself

Brekke, meanwhile, marches back up to the front gate.
