Siv looks haplessly at her father with a shrug ("I don't mind it myself")

His look says I'm not thrilled that -you- used it either.

"-Why- are you using it?"

He asks the girl.

Siv sips figured that part out

"I don't want to answer that" Westward answers "It's personal. But now it's a custom. The contract allows for a troll called Westward to crash in the rafters. So now I'm called Westward. "

"What contract??" he asks Siv.

Siv sips "The one that was made with the slaugh it seems with the first Westward. Or at least that's how the sluagh see it. "

"Mmm. I wonder how -she- sees it."

Westward frowns "Who is 'she'?"

Siv sips "I think he's talking about the lady who left the name laying here"

Westward stops "Well, it doesn't matter what she thinks. She threw it away. You can't complain if someone else picks it up"

An eyebrow. "Did she? Or did she take it with her?"

Siv looks up "Dad, shes' not using it. The girl's got a point"

Westward says "Look, you don't know me, neither of you, and you don't know my whats or whys and I don't think I owe anyone those answers. If the 'First' Westward has a problem with this she can visit me. I'll be in MY office" And she lays down on her rafter

Frank scowls and his fists actually clench as if he'd like to pull her down outta there and give her a good what-for.... but he doesn't.

Siv puts a hand on her dad's shoulder , sympathetic "Come on ,Da. Long as she's not shaming the name, that's what is important"

"Let's go home"

Glowering, Frank nods shortly and leads the way.

The two head out back to Rivervale.

Once they're gone, the childling looks about to make sure it's just her.. and maybe some sluagh, pulls out her stuffed animal Unicorn, and buries her face into it.
