A nod soft Okay. So. Head tilt Now what?

A soft shrug, resettling his shoulders. He clears his throat. "Place brings back memories." Don't know.

"Want me to get some drinks for us from the gloves?" Siv offers

"Cider for me." Frank agrees.

"Mr. Worthy, tea?"

"Why, I'm flattered. And thank you, Mr. King" He says

Siv nods, and orders two ciders and a tea from the gloves.

Webster Worthy joins them for tea

Frank takes a seat at the bar with them.

"Have you been at Firnost long, Mr. Worthy?"

"Infrequently... I have come here on and off for two years now, but it is not my only local "

Frank nods. "I travel a bit myself."

"I Have spent the better part of the summer here this year, however, and am..somewhat abreast of local matters" He sips his tea

"Anything two travelers-through should know?"

"That depends on the travelers" he says after consideration "And their interests. As you already know, Firnost remains a major nexus of trods"

"We get many visitors of all stripes. Many hoping to get a 'back door' into other areas" He continues

Siv looks curious "A lot of Eshu, I would guess?"

"They travel more than most" Webster admits "So are fond of the trods here"

Frank gives Siv a flash of an eyebrow.

Siv shrugs ("Okay. How do YOU Want to play it?")

"Tale tellers." The grump is not impressed by Eshu.

"Oh but they are often entertaining, if not accurate. Indeed, I am often more suspicious of the ones who do not tell stories than the ones who decline" Webster admits

Siv fakes surprise "Really? Did one actually decline recently?"

"Oh yes" He says "one fellow spoke only how he'd be rich enough to buy this place and then vanished" he says

"Can't buy a freehold."

"This is true, not with mere coin" he nods

"ANd he was working for mere coin? Foolish" Siv sips

"Aye, something of a great deal of money" A savoring of his tea "But wealth is not unheard of in these halls"

Frank sips his cider.

"mr king, I believe I have heard of you, not a great deal. but yes. and .. I definitely know of your daughter. I know you hale from rivervale, yes?"

"I do." he rumbles.

"your location has been talked about here, more than once..atimes because one of your number prospered and was once a representive here" he gestures to the statue "But that is not all. I spoke of a westward... the third or is it fourth, to bear that name? I believe there is a connection there as well" he holds up a hand "You need not tell me if there is or not, you are a private man forced to seek information I suspect. What I am trying to do is establish I am versed, and that I am knowledgable. Can you or your daughter tell me ..however round about or direct, if there is anything particular you seek? This mention of eshu has clearly a factor"

A shrug. "Sounds like you know something about this eshu that you want us to know."

"Maybe for some compensation."

"It sounds like I would merely be confirming, so compensation might be scarce. However, as I said, I've heard of rivervale and... I hear, like myself,, most there are seelie. If you feel a debt, I shall trust you will repay me fairly."

"That's most kind of you, but also a good bet" Siv nods

"The Eshu I speak of went by the name Jaques Greenmar" he confirms what was on the man's credit card

"So this eshu was here, boasted about getting paid a lot of money, and vanished. Eshu do that."

"To be fair, the Eshu was trying to woo a female satyr at the time, I suspect there was some attempt to curry favor there" He says "But you are correct at the core of it. Mr. King. ..the interesting thing is, he had a meeting with a sidhe woman a week before that, in one of the upstairs rooms."

"Oh my" siv looks curious "This woman, did she have peacock designed earrings?"

"She did" the sluagh says "As if the wont of sidhe, she was breataking. her hair like liquid gold, her eyes a vibrant green"

Siv looks to his father to see if that hair and eye color combo sounds familiar for any leanhaun he's met

There's a shadow in his blue eyes. Yes.

Siv frowns VERY slightly, then says "Did she leave by trod, if so, which one?"

"In point of fact, she did leave by trod, but not one here. Rather, she traveled to the state fair grounds, and took passage through a trod there."

Siv's eyes widen "Did she..fly ? I mean, float at all?"

"not that I saw, why do you ask?" The sluagh inquires

"Because if that's the trod I believe it to be, it opens at roof level in the County of Renaissance in the Kingdom of the Feathered Serpent " Siv says

Frank clears his throat "Pardon me a moment." he rises and steps outside into the abandoned warehouse's parking lot.
