"Drug, question, and destroy him." William defines their plan.

"As you like," She shrugs

"And warn, I dont believe I am saying this, Rivervale." He humphs.

He strokes her back as she rests on him.

"Oh goodness, it's not like I show up wearing a blind fold and oraclee robes preaching doom"

"You could." He smirks.

"Funny" A smile

He chuckles. "I'll need to purchase a few things for the compound. I want to be -sure- of its efficacy."

"What about the other magical prizes we have? What shall we do with them all?"

"those we keep I think, and, if need be, donate to.. certain causes?"

"Oooo. I like that. We should find out if they are Treasures or dross, though."

"We should" A nod "Now lover, I have to go to the farm and pick up a piglet"

"Lucky piglet, for the time being. Very well." He is reluctant to have her leave but needs must. "I will get what I need and if I have time before you return I will experiment with these prizes, see what I can find out about them. We will use the hotel as a base? At least until dawn?"

"I think that's a good idea" A sigh "I have to get showered, dressed, and go"

"Mmm..." he kisses her, a play at encouraging her to stay, teasing.

A happy whimper at the temptation in his lips but she pulls away with effort

He lets her, with a smirk. "Flatterer." without judgement "I should shower too."

"After me, or we'll never get out in time! " A finger wag and into the bathroom she goes

He laughs softly and goes about tidying up. He checks on the Treasures, to see if they'll tell him anything on a good look. He spreads the bed up and lays out clothes for himself, just to be ready. He putters.

But where to start? the featureless full face mask, a diamond ring that any bride would envy, and an statuette of jade, shaped like a serpent? A light kenning feels glamour for each.

Appraisal and valuation is not -really- his forte but he has not lived the life he has without picking up a few things.

He knows better than to put any of the wearable items on, certainly. He examines all closely for writing or marks.

He -can- whisper, although Callidora is better at it. Something magical might be beyond him, though..... still, what could it hurt to try?

The mask truly is featureless, no writing or marks there. The diamond ring's cut is expert, but otherwise no tale tell things. He takes it, and evokes the power...

and it gleams ready to answer questions

"What is your function?"

he whispers

"I fit on a finger" it.. ggigles

"What are your powers?"

An eyebrow. Interesting.... "How were you created?"

Contract..... he is not familiar with it; are his questions spent?

They are

CC comes out dressed and ready to go "Off I go. need anything?"

"A kiss?" he sets the ring down and turns to her.

Annd she lays one on him

Ooo, very nice. He pats her rump. "Come home soon. I'll play with these pretties until you do."

"You're cuter than a butter bathed piglet yournself" Her accent amusing but all over the rural land scape "I reckon I'll come back an' kiss you agin'"

He laughs. "Go on, then. The sooner you do, the sooner you can return and kiss me."

She winks, and heads out "Try not to get cursed" And she's gone

His laughter follows her out the door.

He turns his attention to the mask, and prepares some dross to Whisper it.

Again the cantrip flares

"What are your powers?"

"Most dreaded am I, for I am the disguise not chosen. The one who wears me will believe they are who another says they are, and into their flesh I sink. They be trapped into the role. Better I was burned than made, lovers of freedom might say, and yet, I am born of dreams be they nightmares"

His eye widens a bit Powerful indeed....

"How were you made?"

Privately, William agrees. He asks "How can you be destroyed?"
