A light pat on his rump in return "What? the prime rib? What can I say, scrawny wasn't a good look on you. I prefer a bit of there there" A wink

He sighs, and there is a note of frustration in it which turns to a chuckle. "One might observe I am -all- 'there'.... but no, I didn't mean that. It is still technically spring, Isuppose. Perhaps that explains an altruistic impulse. Do you think...." now he speaks reluctantly ".... we should warn Rivervale?"

"Of what? they have their prisoner"

"The vampires. That he might be more of a Leech than they think."

A frown, then "yes I suppose we should warn them he has friends in dark places . But how to deliver the warning? "

He thinks a moment. "The DeBukes?"

"You, via the DeBukes." he clarifies "But that involves them."

"It does" She ponders "Word to Sally mae to them?"

"Pardon, them being Rivervale"

"Keeps most of the DeBukes out of it. Will she trust you?"

"As a friend of the Wayburtons? Maybe. "

"See what you can do, then. If they will not accept it, we can start calling you Cassandra." He chuckles.

"Ha, they can't say they werre' warned" A nod

He chuckles again, enjoying the irony. "By you."

She kisses him, "I'll get it started in motion." She says, "now, about the non gold treasure?"

"Yessss...."he draws the word out, relishing it "The Treasure. What would you do with it?"

"Well, the gold we can use to touch our home or the club up.. the painting?"

"Inspired, yes, a lovely feel-good image.... but I'm not sure if it's dross or a Treasure."

"I was more concerned with getting it out of there undamaged." a frown "I wonder why that vampire didn't give off Banality fit to reduce me to an old man....."

"He's young..ish" She says "the younger the damned, the less cold as a rule. Also.. don't forget, Leech chose him. Maybe his lack of bannality as much as his use is why"

William is quiet a moment. "Should we rethink our plan? Feed him a pig and try to find put why Leech chose him?"

"I'm sure , how well can we pry information from one of them? His bannality IS lower" She admits

"Hmph. I'm not unfamiliar with them but I'm not cozy, either. I have known those with more experience but I rather doubt they would work with me now. I'd thought more.... 'Yes, we're working to get the boss sprung and we're going to help you because we're all working to the same goal, right?' as a tactic."

"Let's just destroy him then if we were ggoing to anyway, then ask the ashes of the corpse" The satyr says almost casually

William tilts and cranes around to look at her. "You can do that?"

"Willow Whisper I know. Primal's not my strong suit but I cann whisper"

"I must rethink my end-of-life plans....."

CC grins "Worried your urn and its contents will talk too freely?"

"At least."

"Wil it help if I tell you it will be a very tasteful urn?"

He smirks. "No."

But he says it fondly.

She rolls on him, her dark curs falling down on him

"And, Dearest, none of that addresses the question. What do we do with our... vampire?" And then she is distracting him.

"Yes?"

"Well, we drug him regardless.. after he's too sluggish to do much, we either destroy him, or questionn him while al..well ,while animate. You seemed to want him destroyed at first so I'm pointingg out we can ask the ashes"

"But we could just rob him blind.. and leave .. not like he saw our real forms"

"Are you sure of their powers? That they have not seen us, do not know us?"

"Vampires vary so no I am not SURE SURE... but we had range and they're not immune to the mists"

He strokes her cheek. "Vampires... I did not want this for us."

"I've dealt with some before, never regularly. The more insane they are, the more dangerous to us they are. "

"And we don't know where this one rests. But we owe him a pig."
