William works quickly but carefully, as he does not want to destroy the cantrip and draw attention. He grabs a pry bar and crouches to work on the bolts.

CC turns her back. Knnonwing boggans work better unwatched. She keeps 'guard'

William may rely on his social dynamics more, but here the other gift becomes handier. Three times as fast as it would take most, he has removed the bolts entirely, and can lift the cover

And he does, with a grunt.

CC hears the soft clank

"how goes?"

"Open."h he murmurs softly, looking in carefully; and no, no sticking his head in. He checks for traps like a good little hob.... boggan.

An almost invisible fishing line, somehow preserved, ALMOST escaps his notice. HAD he stuck his head in, he would have set it loose, and no doubt the needles ready to launch from the side would have pierced his flesh

A professional grunt, expecting nothing less, and he tiggers it from a safe distance with the crowbar.

Tiny twhip sounds go off as the needles launch.

"And you without your Fedora" CC remarks

"Mmm. I should leave my hat on?" he paraphrases as he continues to examine the interior, figuring out how to enter.

Oh her eyes dance at that, it will be a tight squeeze, but he might be able to get down there with a drop now that the cover is removed and unbolted. Shape changing magic would be better

"Hm. Dearest, how depraved and inspired are you feeling?"

"Always the first, as for inspired, hit me with what you need, dear"

"Turn me into a sluagh."

"Kinky, the sort with the long prehensile tongue?" Hopeful eyes

"Why not, although you might have to contain yourself until we are home safe."

"Oh bother" She says and makes a gesture

And hums a few bars from Sound of Silence

Her lover definitely thins, going from 'pleasantly plump' to malnourrished!

As he is a suagh, a scrawny example. Or at least in form he is

"Hmph." It takes a moment of getting used to. "Alright then, let's...." he clears his throat but continues in a whisper "... see what we see." and he peers in before entering to climb or drop down.

His eye sight is better. She may have shaped his eyes for improved performance

He notes this and, assuming nothing seems out of place to his dark-keen eyes and years of experience, in he goes.

As he moves, CC follows, and then yelps "WILIAM BACK!"

He leaps backward; his gangly new form is different to control.

The chimerical blade would not kill him mortally, but it would have chopped hischangeling self in half. It was like a side ways guillitone

"I should have seen that." he hisses softly "Well spotted, Dearest." his silibances are a little sloppy; that prehensile tongue takes practice.

"Just protecting my investment" A smile of releief

A soft sound that might be a laugh, and he takes a moment to REALLY examine the area before moving forward again.

Mm and a seconnd blade just like the first a foot further down. Possibly to discourage folks tryinng to avoid the first one by going further in!

He stops Callidora well clear of the trigger and sets it off from a safe distance, himself.

Annother CHop... and there is no third blade

A whisper-soft exhale, grim, and he leads the satyr on.

And they come drop into a hallway... a hallway? How lovely.

Suspicious, William keeps searching for traps and triggers as they move slowly down the hall.

"Password, please" A voice speaks from the shadows.. not in a whisper

The sluagh in the hall lifts an eyebrow at Callidora.

Calliedora now looks like a slaugh herself and comes down "Alas, the password is the one thing the boss couldn't give us before he was captured. We came to warn you. Now that you know, we'll be on our way"

"If you don't have hte password then.. wait, the boss is taken?"

William nods.

"Shit" the voice sounds stunnned "Well damn. How snugly is he secured?"

William shakes his head very gravely; clearly the boss is in a bad situation.

"I wouldnn't suggest it. " Cc whispers

"This absolutely reeks. I've had a good set up here"

"Well-hidden, excellent defenses.... looks like a good set up."
