Flumping into a nearby chair or couch? or to the bed with him? which will it be?

Neither. He goes to his own room, rarely used, but still...

To his bed... he collapses and sleeps. Indeed, he's surprised how quickly he sleeps ,and how deeply.

He wakes sure enouogh though to the sound of a groan from the living area where a couch is.

He also notes his own collection of aches. He downs a couple aspirin and starts a bath running.

"oww...I don't remember hang overs being that bad." Staggering sounds

He slips downstairs as unobtrusively as possible to make coffee while the tub fills. CC finds water, sport drink, and vitamins next to her on the coffee table, waiting.

CC notices "Oh.. baby are you.." She lowers her voice after that hurt "You're back. Thank god"

He pauses. "Yes. Of course I am." Quietly. "You have a bath running. I will feed the pets."

"Oh the pets" she sighs "I'm a terrible person... "

"Ahhh. I took care of them last night. Go relax."

"Why is everything so bright?"

"I will draw the blinds, and it is dark upstairs in the bathroom and bedroom.

"You're too good a man for me. I'm sorry" she seems.. defeated... the hang over isnt' helping

But she does make her way to the bath

He makes coffee and takes a tray upstairs; buttered toast, a hot pot of seasoned chicken broth, crackers, the coffee, and more water and sports drinks. He sets them down at the bedside and goes to check on Callidora.

she's put a wash cloth over her eyes and is soaking in the tub.

Even now, she looks lovely. While she might fuss a bit about grump dom, her mature figure continues to entice.

Alas, the hangover DOES detract

She hears him "Baby is that you?"

"Yes." Softly. "Have you added bath oil? Lavender might help, lightly used."

"I did.. I'm sorry. I didn't think things trhough last night. I didn't consider how YOU would feel about me being insulted. How it would hurt you.. and if I'd thought about it I would have just told him no thank you before he really opened his yap. "

"I apologize. I'm sorry for losing my temper. You know that's not my habit." Gently.

"Well... you were due one" she admits removing the wash cloth so she can see him, "A collassal misread on my part . I..may have learned what not to drink together on a sulk fest."

He crosses to her and offers her the glass of cold water he holds. "Can you drink this?"

"mmm" she whines just a bit but takes it and sips "Yes. I suppose. How.. are you feeling better? I mean, less angry?"

He nods, winces slightly, and stretches carefully.

"Yes, I am. Would it bother your stomach if I ate something? I mean, here?"

"No not at all" she gives a smile, the first real one she's had since he left. "You could eat in the tub if you wanted..I'd make room"

"Hm." He shrugs, drops his robe, and climbs in with her. "I'll wait a bit."

She brushes him lightly with a hoof, then smiles "I love you"

A crooked grin. "I love you too. Drink your water."

"Whatever happened to 'the show must go on'? Oh, and call Caesar, let him know you're alive."

"The show will go on.. tomorrow" a pout.. then "Caear? was he here? He shouldn't be! He's got work"

And there's the card.

"So did you." Mildly.

Pfft "Different situation"

"How so?" With a smirk.

"I'm sorry I can't hear you I have water in my ears"

Then she sighs "fine..maybe I do not always practice what I preach, but you know? somehow it doesn't bother me"

"We know." Comfortingly.

"My hang over's not karma by the way... just for the record"

"Of course not."

He shifts, stretching a little.

She moves about and works at his muscles "Oh geez honey, you're as tight as a drum here by the neck and shoulders"

Her hands and the hot water are helping

"Hmmph. I -am- a bit sore." He admits, relaxing into her touch.

She moves around him and acts as his own back rest and therapy "I can tell. "

"From now on" she promises "I'll know better than to have you stand there doing nothing while someone is rude to me... even if they can't help it. "
