He looks genuinely upset, even angry.

The dress sparks, but empty of glamour it does not have the magic to whisk him way to..whoever he could see himself marrying

"Well. Let it not be said I would bully the woman I love, then." He goes to the closet, and gets his suitcase out. It is still mostly full, but there are toiletries and a few sundry items about the room.

"See, this is the problem with non satyrs, no sense of the proper release of passions. Really dear, you're not an amateur. You'll think of where to place me..." A pause "Would sex calm you down?"

"No, it would cause me pain." As he packs neatly and efficiently. "I love you and I want to be free to say so and this is how I can do that but I don't want you in contact with this network. That's.... counterproductive." And she can see just a bit of Killian's cold calculation.

"then I will not go as Callidora," she says then realizes what he's doing and sits on the suitcase, "You're not living here with out me"

In another place, not Kansas City, a hotel room has an impromptu visitor who has just been asked a very serious question. "Randy, I told you, was not Caesar's father. "Not until I'm sure you won't try to slip me a sedative and ship me off" perhaps a bit harsh to say, but while she loves her man she'd be a fool not to recognize he can be devious

An irritated look crosses his face, but then he settles back to listen.
