"Given the results working out for me, I can't really bitch about it" He says getting out the pie for her and preparing tea . Hey, not bad, he doesn't have it perfectly down pat, but still, his tea making isn't nearly as clumsy

Well, not as cllumsy as some non sluagh

Well, he's been a sluagh once... a VERY LARGE one...

"I acted in haste when I saw the panel..."

"you sound like you're beating yourself up bit. Trust me, no plan survives a battle intact, and the metaphor goes further than that"

"You must be quite skilled to detect even an omen!"

A blush "well, uhm, I"m not a genius, but ...when I was a kid? Mom and I were on the lam. And...kenning was how you knew the sidhe were near."

"Ah. Makes sense. Lovely tea."

"Thank you" He sets it down for her along with the pie and has some himself, "Darn cookies locked me in as sluagh very briefly. I don't remember half of it , but my tea game has been better ever since so a win." He looks curious "And that was an omen? Wow. It felt..powerful. Like, I don't remember you casting those that strong last year. Chimerical wheaties?"

"I've been practicing!"

"It shows" he says and grins "Setting up a shingle that says 'Witch for hire?'"

She grins. "Aye. Though I do need a proper hat, I think."

A grin "I know some ladies who make fantastic costumes for wrestlers. I think they could manage a hat."

"Well, maybe!"

He looks at her head size s if memoroizing it "Good. Maybe that'll get me a little out of debt to you. Goes without saying, I owe you. Is..is there something I can do for you, besides a hat I mean? Tickets to sporting events? Money to you or a cause of your choice? Heck, I have been working on real estate"

A soft chuff. "I do not much care for live sports... too loud, too bright, too crowded. I will suffer for my Mets, but naught else."

"Well" he says with somberness "The Mets are worth suffering for"

"They are the best!"

"Do you like baseball?"

"Actually, yeah" He says "I like the Mets plenty, but in truth I suppose I'm not so much pro mets as anti Yankees." Sheepish "was into the Mariners for while, but it passed. Its like coke, eventually you go back to the classics"

"Well, so long as you hate the Yankees, the Mariners are okay."

"It's not hard, frankly most yankee players seem very punchable to me... something bout that smug look on their faces" He confides, then "Okay, so maybe some tickets to a Mets game, but other than that and a hat, anything else? "

She blushes. "Oh, you needn't. But, oh, the Mets are wonderful..."

"First though... I would be prepared for her to strike back. She is not entirely well."

"Yeah her hinge is missing a screw " He agrees "And I may have to remove all the changes to the House she made just to be safe"

She nods. "There might be ways for her to watch you, not just the outside."

He sighs "Safe. you hear me? I have almost a hundred pounds of muscle on her"

A nod "I'll get some one I can trust to search around." A wince "Oy. Mom. Wht do I tell mom?"

"There are ways to strike where that would not help."

"Naught of me, if you please."

"Oh sure. I know you're a private person," He says, "GOing to have to think of how to avoid the fact I had help. Mom's pretty savvy"

"Well, YOU found the panel, and the herbs within..."

"Hah yes. " He nods " True enough. We'll not mention the clue by four in the room" Caesar nods "Well, I think one thing I'll do is head towards a freehold. I've been sulking in my wounds long enough. It'll also provide that temproary protection I guess." A look at her, "Fortunately, Susain doesn't know you so...pretty sure you're safe. And I'm glad of that. Hey, how re you and Earl doing?"

"Very well! Earl is..." A sigh. "He makes me very happy."

"Hah you two sure you don't want real estatee help? A really good deal on a love nest for him you can horn in on anytime you like?"

PINK! She hastily shakes her head. "I'm still sixteen, nu?"

"Sorry, you are totally right. Satyr brain kicked in. We ah, start young on some things. "He sips the tea 'And we also tend to butt int o folks social lives. Let's just say I'm glad you two are happy and leave it at that. Mmm witch hat, Mets tickets. Check." A thought "Zara, I was joking about that Witch for hire bit, but would you be interested in a job sometime?"

"I do like to keep busy. I get in trouble otherwise...."

"I might have something for you , not tonight, but later"

"Well, you know how to find me. Thank you for the tea, but I should be on my way."

"And I should head to a hold" He rises to escort her to the door "Thanks again, zara"

"You're welcome, Caesar. Good luck."

"And you" And they part, Zara becoming one with the shadows and Caesar? He' will actuall use a bit of glamour to diquise himself as a troll later and slip onto a hold.

Zara sips her tea. "Twas entertaining, in a way. I did not entirely expect her to be there, truth, but she was making him dinner. She did not manage to properly close a hidden panel, leading to its discovery."

He tsks, shaking his head.

"Mayhaps she grew complacent?"

"I believe her feelings to be genuine - I sensed no enchantment on her. Though... odd... she was VERY seelie, as if supercharged.."
