For Zara, Caesar's house is easy to spot. She has quested near here, wandered these autumn streets, not often, but Caesar has been an ally. Besides, he lives pretty cllose to his mom, CC.

Spying on the Dougal is the name of the game, but by foot or scrying? mmm

Scrying will be easier after observing with her own eyes.... and really, how hard can the satyr's house be to infiltrate?

It would appear that the dougal has upped the security! New locks, and window sensors!. There's even a camera hidden in a tree and another on the roof.

She rolls her eyes. Damn Dougal. She watches the cameras, figuring out the "no go" areas around them.

Not hard to guess the patterns. The Dougal is talented, but it's not hard to guess where things are meant to rotate after a brief observation.

She nods, and tracks a path for approach. No use bothering with windows, wasting time with picking locks. Dark eyes check the foundation, looking for vent plates - too small for a human thief to enter. But she isn't human. She is a sluagh.

And she finds it, while the house is in great shape, it has a chimney! And it being summer, the flu maybe tight, too tight for a mortal to slip down, but it's not in use. Yes, that would do.

A shrug, and off she goes. She's dressed simply - leggings and a tank top, black instead of grey.

It takes ..well, a while. Annoyingly enough, longer than she thought it would. She almost slips once, starts over, and tries a different angle. mmmph! The rudeness of some surfaces

The climb is not easy - Zara doesn't have fly fingers, so she needs to dig for hand-and-footholds. One slip, she is in fact saved by her spidery, dexterous toes - gripping as deftly as a hand.

Once she gets to the chimney, she slowly bends and warps herself, and ooozes down. While she has no fly fingers, her eyes prove , as usual, to be an asset. She slithers down, undulating like a worm.

Patience is a virtue, and this is no task to rush.

Credit to Caesar, he keeps this relatively clean. She finds few ashes at the bottom, and her eyes peek out into the room, hair falling upside down like trailing wisps. She scans about, a den, and a rather masculine one. Dark tones and leathers. Troll sized furniture. Big screen TV.

No one else in the den besides her.

Good. From her hiding spot, she looks for more cameras.

Ha! None inside.

Still... she places her hands over her eyes... once, twice, thrice.... veiling before she slithers out. Bare feet are silent as she looks for a good long term spot to hole up.

The den does have a wetbar she could curl t the foot of , and a closet over there. mmm or she could move in. She might not be in the busiest traffic, espeically if Caesar is healing up in his bedroom. Of course, she's not here to see Caesar, but rather this Susian

Bedroom or kitchen might be best... she looks for any signs of the sidhe - personal effects, stray bobby pins...

Mmm the lights in here are quality. Looks like she may have tinkered up the entertainment system. Well, she is a dougal, and into sound and lighting. But no, otherwise very little of HER here. She moves quietly into ther rooms

She soon tracks down the kitchen, and stops, the lady Dougal is cooking.

She's beautiful, of course, but her hair is short and spikey and meant to not get into the way. Her outfit is not particularly feminine, but neither is it 'butch'. Casual might be the right word.

Zara noticdes an ear pieces, perhaps hearing aids, in the sidhe's ears.

Zara ducks beneath cover, settling in to watch.

the woman humans happily, and continues on her cooking. It would appear either Caesar likes it extra hot or she makes it that way or both. This couldd be a whiel, but fortunately, sluagh ccan be patient.

She notes the seasonings, sensitive nose keen for anything... odd...

mmm the woman knows her herbs.

Rare in a dougal. Most of them are experts in the inorganic.

About ten minutes in, the Dougal tilts her head, and says "Hello?"

Silent. Still. Hidden.

And it turns out the greeeting was not meant for anyone in the room as she starts out what seems like a one sided conversation "Is everything okay? yes? Okay, what, why are you calling me? No no, the set up we have is fine. Thanks." Her ear pieces act as some sort of cellphone?

She strains her ears, trying to listen to the OTHER half of the conversation.

(The other side of the conversation) 'Susy,, been trying to call you. Yeah, everything's fine. why am I calling ? 8 to 1 odds paid off for you big time. You sure you want it put it that account? There re better things to do with that money. you won't even be able to touch it for a month'

She listens, and notes - betting against the boyfriend? Bad form...

more converstation "Please, the money is going to be handy for us later, but he and I don't need it yet. Maybe I'll buy him a really nice gift for Yule or help him with his real estate." -Her// 'Huh. Okay. you think he's going to retire?'- Other voice/ "I hope so. he and I can be ...pretty happy here. Now, no offense, but you calling , you're alone right? No one eavesdropping?"- Her//'Nah, I'm alone.If you want to play betty crocker, that's your biz'- Other voice//"Yes, it is" her eyes narrow, "And you realize I don't want this to interfere with that. You walk on with your friend, I get Caesar. I don't want you changing your mind later and trying to hook another angle" / Laughter, 'Relax, I'm not that greedy, or stupid'- the other voice 'Enjoy life, sweet thing'

A frown, and she kens the sidhe.

the sidhe is a sidhe, and her ear pieces are quite strong in glamour.

Well, Dougal.

if she's balor, she's really good at hiding it. Of course, the real test would be finding a way to remove those ear pieces. no amount of chimerical aid can 'fix' a balor's flaw it is saidd. Zara has, for reasons of her own, studied House Balor a great deal of late. Susiain 's glamour is summery, but...almost too much so. Like a heat from sunlight that has jumped from warm, to blistering.

The Dougal 'hangs up' and shakes he head, muttering "He'll never understand" and then calls out in a loud voicee (Which might make Zara wince) "Beupstairs in a minute, Caesar! I have your chilli!"

She'll wait - to double check seasonings, before following to spy on Caesar's room.

"I can come down, " Caesar says, "I'm goofing off too much"

She looks worried at him coming down, "you're still black and blue in a lot of places, still sore. You just stay there..."

When Caesar's footsteps come down anyway, the Dougal rushes past, and Zara has a moment to check out the chilli

Veiled! And she scurries to check the collection of ingredients.

Mmm no sedatives, no narcotics... a bit heavy on the peppers.Zara looks not just at the ingredients in the chilli, but for others perhaps unused and...

she finds it, a false panel. Damn it, there's a way to shift it, do it right, and no problem. Do it wrong, and it may have a small alarm on the inside of it. Dare she take the chance?
