This fellow is an older man, gray beard neatly trimmed, and notices her looking about and reads it properly moving there, "Yes, ah...you've found one of our newer artist's work. Like it do you?"

"It's...." She can't answer, and instead says, "What do you know of the artist?"

"Her name is Emma Wang, Chinese American, a local. This is her first time in the gallery. Seems a shy girl."

"A local." A nod. "This is her first? It's...very impressive."

"Her first here, yes. Apparently she was scared to show her work,but then a few months ago something inspired her. Now she's taking a chance, and, we took a chance on her. However, as untested as she is, we have set a low price on this piece. Five hundred dollars. if it truly touches you, I would call it a steal." A pause, "If you are interested in her other works, we don't have much on hand but I can give you her personal contact information. She gave us leave on matters of commission requests or the like."

She looks at the painting again, thoughtfully, then back to him. "If I purchase it, would you be able to continue to display it for a while longer? I do not want to remove it from public view yet...others should get a glimpse of her work."

"Of course," He says "We would be more than pleased to do so."

"We were going to lower it after two weeks. Would you be willing to wait that long?"

"Absolutely. But...it is mine. And yes, I would like her contact information, as well."

"Follow me and we'll seal the deal."

Dion says, "Should we also get the other two paintings?" a lower voice

She looks to Dion with a bit of a grin, and takes his arm again to follow the gentleman. "There are two others in another room; are all the galleries connected in sales?"

"This is all one gallery miss, but I do get a commission."

"Then I think perhaps we shall grant you this one, and the other guide her own."

"You're a fair minded young woman," He doesn't seem offended at all, "I'll call her over after I've made the first part of the purchase under my commision, then switch with her and she'll finish it off. All Is dotted all ts crossed. Oh, and the contact information..." Soon email, phone, and yes even address are handed out. The guides switch places, and the young woman tries to hold her pleasure to tolerable levels but does thank her for being so kind. "Would you like these two right away I'm assuming? I know you have the first staying for two weeks. What's most convenient?"

"These two should be delivered to my address at the earliest convenience, by your most careful courier, please." The suggestion of her anger if there sould be damage doesn't need to be spelled out any more clearly. And she again hands over the credit card.

"Of course, I believe that, given the size of the purchase, a certain price adjustment is possible?"

"We do try to encourage art lovers to keep their interest," She says, "I can offer a discount of 250 in hopes of encouraging you to continue with us in the future."

"Oh, 200 is adequate. And I am certainly impressed with what I have seen so far. Your gallery demonstrates a good eye for potential."

"Thank you," And just like that, arrangements are made. Dion escorts Chloe out, "Well, that was successful. "

"Agreed. There will be some argument with Chloe's father. At least, there might be whenever he next is at the house. But I can manage him."

"Yes, you're quite winsome that way.."

She smiles up at him. "I am."
