"He will find she. She is not smart. She is not wise. She will be gone, and all will be well." Lovecraft yowls. "She came off big water. You go watch? Smart. Learn to hunt like mine. Wisest, best."

Sylvi starts to say something, then pauses, and her tone changes. "Yes. Yes, I want to see. I want to learn from him. Please, Lovecraft, let me see? Let me learn? Take me to him? Please?" And a little wave of the sardine tin for emphasis.

A lash of her tail, not unlike a shrug.

"This is New Jersey. There's lots of water and ports." She quickly texts Rikki:

A yawn, and she stands, stretches sloooowly, then suddenly starts to trot away, without watching to see if Sylvi follows. The cat is quick!

She still follows Lovecraft, but at least she knows (hopefully) where to go if they get separated.

Lovecraft seems to be in no special hurry, but she does hiss and jump back when a car zooms up to the curb and almost hits the cat - granted, she's invisible in the shadows!

The Eshu behind the wheel double checks his app, and groans. "Amanda Hugenkiss. Sorry miss, guess you're not my fare."

"WAIT!" Sylvi runs up. "I need to get to Dock 94 now. Please, it's urgent."

The Eshu blinks, and grins at her. "Well well, hop on in." Lovecraft has already slid through the window and taken Shotgun.

"Thank you," Sylvi says with genuine relief as she gets in. "Faster is better."

"Good thing for you, I'm souped up with Nocker tech just for that. Hold onto your butts!"

With an engine roar that makes Lovecraft's ears flatten to her head, they take off!
