She's still irritated about the whole situation with Yoel...but now this?

What's the most urgent thing that got back-burnered?

Electric bill!

She's got 3 days to pay it off

Crud. Are there enough funds to cover it?

Okayyyy...how about billables? Any lessons people haven't paid for, yet?

Oh lots. Looks like she's got at least 5 folks she can hit up for cash. And.. a new student? WHo has quite the outstanding debt

Oh! Okay, so...time to make some phone calls. She settles in and dials the more familiar numbers first, taking the time to make friendly small talk before giving gentle reminders about the lesson payments....

Oh it goes quite well. They DO owe money after all. One lady offers to pay electronically right then and there. But she finds that new student's number has a 'the number you have reached is no longer in service'

Venmo is a wonderful thing, and the lady's payment is gratefully accepted.

She frowns at the failed phone contact. Do they have an address on file?

Bad or otherwise, she's soon on her way there.

She heads to Jenny's address. One thing Sylvi can do is walk in an unfamiliar place as if she's meant to be there. Hopefully she pulls it off here, too.

She moves through. She sees one guy on the street look her over, and in not in a good way

"Hey... " He walks over , "You look a little UPTown girl... what you doing around here? You lost?"

"Nope," she answers truthfully and moves on, paying him as little attention as possible.

"Where you going girl?" He puts a hand on Sylvi's Shoulder "Just being friendly"

She slaps his hand away, using the action as a bunk for Trick-of-the-Light, making the guy hear whatever female relation he has (wife, girlfriend, mother) screaming at him from behind. ((tell me the roll, Mr. D, please?))

She hurries to get further away, hopefully around a corner, rubbing one eye as she goes to cast Veiled Eyes on herself.

Andshe does ... soon undisturbed as she makes her way to a run down appartment that should be condemned, but in this economy? You take what you can get
