Etsie nods "nice nice... try this chord, Jenny"

And Etsie plays one. It's not too advanced. Jenny can handle it

Jenny nods, listening, then gives it a go. Hestitant and she fumbles a bit

"Doubt's a bitch.. just trust that no one here is judging you out of spite or malice here" Etsie advises "Now try again and don't get in your own way"

Jenny eases up, tension out of her, and hits it right this time, smooth

The tweeting of the Goldfinch might alert Etsie that Sylvi's coming in.

She walks past the studio they're working in, pauses...then gives a quick wave. "Sorry, don't let me interrupt."

"Well, the boss arrives. Keep practicing that, Jenny" etsie rises

"Oh it's fine. Jenny here is just getting a chord or two down. I was about to hit the can as old folks do"

"Great. Hey, Jenny." Her smile might be the tiniest bit tense, but Etsie might be the only one to notice that.

"Hey... good to see you again" Jenny says "I brought some money. Etsie has it"

"Well, don't do more than you can. I know you've got things set up with Etsie." She's got a few cases that she's carrying. "Gotta put these down. You keep working those chords, okay?"

Etsie nods and notices the look "Here, let me help you with that on my way to the bathroom" Etsie nods to Jenny who DOES keep practicing.

Then when it's just the two changelings, Etsie says "What's up, El Presidente?"

Sylvi lets out a low whistle. "Listen...tell me what you think of her so far." Referring to Jenny. "Like...general impressions."

"Did a lot of stupid when younger, got used ...then thrown out in a wad. SOmehow she's smoothed out and trying. I have to respect the attempt." Etsie says without hesitating "Talent wise? Does best when she doesn't think on it too hard. The music soothes her or lets her cry a bit without tears. I don't think she'll ever be pro but I'm not sure she wants to"

"Not a Dreamer, though, right?"

"I mean, I don't see it, but I haven't spent a lot of time with her."

"mmm I like to think anyone might be a dreamer if musing goes on long enough and carefully enough. Why? You want me to try to make her one?"

"I...uh...no. I mean, if it happens, it happens, but don't push it." She sets down her cases near the studio where she does her videos.

"Okay.. what is going on with her and you?" A brow

"I just...." Another pause. "Listen, I know something about her, and it's kind of awkward, but if I tell you, you have to keep it absolutely secret. If you don't think you can, don't make me tell you."

"Oh sure. I'm an arm twister. Look, Starbright, you're a great leader... I'm just the Vice" A smirk "But I share the fire with you. So if this is a threat to the hold I need to know whether you think I'll blab or not. If it doesn't threaten the hold, and you want me to zip my yap, I will. THough if it's about Piper getting the Nine Month Symphony, that ship has sailed because I think everyone knows around here"

"Oh, hell, Etsie...if there were a threat to the hold, I'd tell you and Piper right off. Look, you already know she's made some mistakes in the past. She's hurt some people, too." She hesitates a moment, then whispers very quietly, "That's Dagmar's bio-mom."

"Huh..." She does not seem too surprised

"So, it's great that she's taking lessons and learning and all...but I think we need to keep them from seeing each other. Cuz that's going to be a whole thing."

"I thought I saw that hair before" she says "mmm well, While I welcome Dagmar anytime, it's not a secret she prefers The Lodge to Goldfinch anyway"

There's an offended bird sound in the hold at that

"Yeah. So it's not a big risk. But...just be aware."

"Oh, don't take it personally," she says to the bird. "It's a matter of preference, not quality."

"She's right. Some folks love Heavy metal, some love Hip Hop, and some folks love.. ugh Polka"

The bird gives an apologetic tweet

"I wanna hear you play a heavy metal polka," Sylvi teases her. "Anyway...that's the thing. I figured you should know."

"Weird Al is the guy you're looking for. Goofy looking, but amazing talent. Not a bad lay"

"Anyway, thanks for letting me know" She nods

"You didn't," she looks amazed. "Actually...scratch that. Of course you did." A grin.

"Look, he's got a tight little ass and amazing vocal talent and he made me laugh. Pretty tempting combo. Funny thing... Al gets enchanted, a LOT. He's been kidnapped a few times by Nobles and commoner motelys alike , enchanted and asked to perform. IT's become so common to him that he actually glows up saying "Oh it's youuu guys" "

"You know, that shouldn't surprise me at all. Damn. Listen, not like I'm advocating a kidnapping, but if you happen to hear of him giving a fae show, let me know, okay? I wanna see that!"

"Noted" She says with a smile

"Okay. I gotta set this stuff up, so I'll let you get back to her."

"Actually... I am getting 'back' to the bathroom ..forgot I needed to piss. " She trots quickly off

Sylvi laughs, and then sets about adding some more light options to her filming location.

And it goes pretty well!
