"Apparently you haven't lived until you've seen A Midsummer Night's Dream in it's original Wakandan" He observes "Slightly abridged"

"Oh, that sounds like it must have been a blast. I'm really glad it went well. I'm going to try to come up and visit for a bit this summer, so I can drop in, maybe help out a bit."

"They'd love that" Spencer assures, "There's some new blood for you to meet then"

"Well, I think I'm more interested in touching base with the old," she says. "But I'm happy to meet the new, too."

"You should also visit the farm" Spencer says "They apparently miss you"

"Apparently? Well, I was definitely planning on it." A grin. "Funny...summer used to seem to last forever, but now there are so many things I want to do, people I want to see, that it doesn't seem to be nearly enough time."

"Maybe I should get somebody with Chronos to help me get to see everybody over the summer."

"Ain't that a Sidhe art?" Carson asks

"Well...usually? But some commoners have arts that sidhe don't think they should be allowed to have." A shrug. "I don't care for the idea that sidhe get to monopolize arts."

"I hear that" Ives finally speaks

"Right? So...what we can learn, we should learn." A shrug as if it's a no-brainer.

She notices Carson has a bit of golden sparkle in his hair, kind of sexy actually.

It does catch her eye. "Is that...?" she gestures to his hair. "Does your hair do that just by your nature? Or is it something else, like a cantrip or spray?"

"Oh uhm sorry" Carson says with a blush

"It's.. a gift. "

"No, I like it!"

"A gift?"

"Yes there was a ..friendly spirit among the corn" He blushes "She ...ah liked me"

"Oh!" Sylvi grins. "Yeah. That happens there."

Ives ahems, "It's how we got the Cornsmut"

A laugh. "Sorry, that just sounds so awful, but I know it's really valuable."

"It did some good." Carson says, "At first I thought I wrecked the crop"

"And how long did the other DeBukes let you go on thinking that?" She gives Ives an amused look.

"Not nearly enough" Spencer said with a clap on the shoulder of the Kinain "He ran to the Mountain scared stiff"

"Which was the smart thing to do" Ives concedes

"Ain't no friendly ribbing like a DeBuke friendly ribbing," Sylvi observes with a grin.

Carson gives a boyish smile at his feet. Adorable

(PAUSE)

The conversation continues for a bit, but Sylvi is distracted. Eventually, she texts Siv again.

A return text She just woke up, and not sure how much you know, but I for one would welcome your visit

Sylvi takes a look at that and nods. "Hey, guys, I'm heading out for a bit. If you leave, try to clean a bit of this up before you go, okay?" she gestures at the food empties.

"We'll feed Dirk the boxes" They assure

"Bonus" Dirk says

"Only if he wants them," she cautions, then gives Dirk a thumbs-up.

And she's off.

Soon, at the speed of vehicle.... she has gone to the apartment
