Does it look like it's starving, or sick?

running fingers along his side, the frame UNDER the fur is on the scrawny side

"Crap. Might be lost."

he purs a bit, as he's touched and fed at the same time

She frowns. "I bet there's lost and found stuff I could look up online."

She takes out her phone. "Or just put it on blast." She sits down a little bit away from the cat and takes a few pictures.

the cat swats the phone if it gets close

"Camera-shy?" she says with a grin. "Okay, then...s'pose I can just ask." She reaches out to pet the cat again, over and over, casting willow whisper as she does.

Puurr and it takes affect

"Are you lost from your people?"

"Uhm.. no, they're lost from me. the car went the wrong way"

Sylvi frowns. How old does this cat look?

Full grown but young. No more than 3 years old

"Can you describe the home where you and your people live?"

"No.." the cat says "Because we were moving to new place"

"But they were stupid... they let the car door open, put me on the sidewalk... and then forgot I was supposed to go with them"

A scoff "Stupid two leggers"

Romana's eyes go wide

Sylvi's frown intensifies. I really didn't want it to be that. "They do sound stupid, yeah. We should find you some better people."

"What's your name?"

"Fucking Cat" He answers

"Ugh." She sighs and looks to the others. "Well, his former owners are out of the question."

"What a bunch of assholes" Romana says

Even Rikki's eyes are narrowing "Some folks should have their buttcheeks crazy glued"

"I second that." She sighs, weighing options.

"Well...I think I've already broken two of the three rules..."

"I've fed him, and I've pet him. Might as well name him, and get it over with."

The cat looks at her shoe laces, and starts to swat at them

"If you can still understand me...do you have a name you'd prefer?"

"Mrow?" It says, the cantrip done or broken

"Derp Davidson has a nice ring to it" the pooka advises

"How 'bout Rikki Jr?" Sylvi replies.

A tongue sticks out

"Okay okay... Sylvi, name the cat" Romona says "and don't let Rikki bait you"

"Well, Goldfinch is a recording studio...." she considers, then grins. "Mic. We'll call him Mic. Sounds like Mike, short for microphone. I think it works."

Mic looks up "Mrow?" the bowl empty, and he head bumps her. Seems to lead with his head. Its a rather affectionate bump

"Yup. Okay." A resigned sigh. "Goldfinch has a cat. Seems almost inevitable."

"Guess he's one of us... and I think he's choking on your shoe lace"

Gack

"Oh, geez...Mic, staaaaaahp." She carefully pulls her foot away and picks up the cat. "You goofball."

"Okay, let's get inside. I'll show you around. Oh, Ramona, if I give you some cash, can you go shopping for some cat food and a litter pan?"

"Oh sure! Heck, My mom has a cat, hates other cats sadly, I'll see if she has some old toys too that she doesn't play with anymore" And the boggan is off

And Mic looks about, then races here and there, zing, zoom, explore...

he found the stairs and misjudged the distance

Sylvi facepalms. "This is gonna be a thing...." she mutters as she texts Piper.

And with that text sure to set the WRONG idea, which will be fun to see the results of... Sylvi shows the cat around.. and makes sure Mic doesn't fall into the balefire when he tries to swat at it
