A thump, and twittering laughter from the bird

Sylvi looks up from where she was tidying up a room. "What the...?"

"Einstein out here" Rikki is snickering

Sylvi goes to see what's going on.

There is a stoopid cat trying to catch the bird chimera in the window

"That's...what does he think he's doing?"

RIkki snickers "Eating glass?"

She looks at the pooka. "Did you do something? Is he doing that because of some kind of cantrip or something?"

she points to the goldfinch that has always been there, fluttering about "Yes, I crapped it out Geez"

Now and then the cat stops, then licks it's paws like it doesn't care. Only to try again

"Yeah, but...no cat's THAT stupid," she says in disbelief.

"Maybe it's dain bramaged?"

"Hey! Pss-pss-pss-pss!"

The cat stops, and stares at her as she makes interesting noises

"C'mere, pss-pss-pss!"

Slowly, the cat comes towards the door

(Which I assume she's opened?)

(No, she's gone out into the street.)

Slowly the cat turns towards her, and gets closer, then sits down on it's haunches and looks UP ,and UP at her

She puts her hands on her hips. "What exactly do you think you're doing?"

"mrrow" the cat explains

She points at the window. "That...is not something to hunt."

"Hey , girls" Romana the boggan says "oh, Sylvi. You got a cat?" She has come in from the street 'it's ah, nice"

The cat looks at the window with the bird, and licks his chops

"I did not get a cat. This cat thinks the Goldfinch is a snack."

"That's.. glass" Ramona states the obvious but feels she must "the cat can't eat a window"

Rikki grins

She looks at Rikki. "What?"

"Rage against the machine" She grins "It IS very goldfinch"

"Well...yeah, but..." She sighs and looks at the cat. "No more. Don't."

"Rrrow" It protests , and makes a hungry sound

"Maybe he's hungry," she says. "Stay here," she says to the cat and goes back inside. "Don't know if we've got anything that a cat would want to eat...."

"If you feed it, it's not going to explode" Rikki explain

Sylvi looks at her. "Huh?"

Rikkie smirks

"She's no help" Romana says "let's see what we got."

She follows

She looks in a cabinet in the kitchen. "Oh! Turkey jerky." She starts tearing some up into little cat-bite-size pieces.

"Maybe if I put some in a little bowl with some water...?"

"Here, " Romana helps her running the water "Let it heat up, a bit, kind of spread the flavor. "

"Jerky soup. Goldfinch specialty."

And soon the two have jerky soup... and hear a thump against glass

And rikki's laughter "Oh this cat is shreddig me"

"Oh for the love of...." Sylvi brings the bowl of...delicacies...back out to the cat. "You are going to get brain damage, idjit! C'mere, pss-pss-pss!" She puts down the bowl. "Food."

The cat gives her a stubborn look... after it recovers from dizzieness, then sniffs the air delicately, and walks over to the food, sniffing again

"Much tastier than glass, I assure you." She checks to see if the cat has a collar.

No collar. And the cat face plants into the bowl

"if it drowns, I'm gonna tell Symon to taxidermy it" Rikki observes

but .. it seems to be eating

"Huh. Definitely hungry."
