jordan smirks "where is the trust?"

"How exactly are you thinking Jordan might fuck up Beltane, Prissy?" Sylvi's amused that the redcap is focused on the holiday at all.

"He was going to have us wear green cultist robes to show we unseelie ones had been indoctrinated for a day" she snorts

"Hey, I'm unseelie too, normally... at least samhain the seelie can forget"

Then she grins at Jordan. "That's what my dad says."

"Your dad's got some brains" Jordan says. He and her father are tight. Hard not to notice

"Truth. Now, I know I've been kind of distracted, but anybody have an idea for a theme? Or should we just have generic no-name Party?"

"Personally, it's Goldfinch's first Beltane, so it should be something special."

"Special in one day?" Jordan says "huh"

"Well, it's always special, but I'm not sure what you mean?"

"You said it is her first so should be something special" he points out "But we have ONE Day to arrange it and plan and get the stuff"

"Mm, good point. Then again, we are fae. Good at making the impossible happen, y'know?"

While they're working, someone enters "All clear here?" Clem

"Chieftain Clem! Welcome." Sylvi goes to her. "You doing okay?"

"Well as can be expected, Holder Sylvi" She says "I am dropping off stuff left by the will"

"Come with me a second, I want to share something with you...excuse us a minute, guys," she says to Prissy and Jordan as she draws Clem into a side room. The album is still playing, loud enough for them to hear where they are.

Clem tilts her head "I think I know these songs"

"Our balefire made a little treasure," Sylvi says with a nod, and shows her the album cover.

Clem looks it over "Oh my. How would it KNOW? I...' She says "if I weren't a trol I think I'd tear up"

"Well, I don't want to be the only one!" Sylvi admits. "And I don't know how it knew, but it did. Maybe she somehow sent a message back, or our balefires are talking to each other? I don't know."

"I'll have a chat with our fire about being too free with strange flames in jeresy" but she gives Syli a hug "You hold onto that."

She returns the hug. "I will. If you want to borrow it...?"

"Maybe just get a list of all the songs and i'll download em for myself" she nods "Your hold has a good dream behind it i think. Oh, your inheirtance"

"Honestly, at first I thought this was the inheritance, somehow. Then the Fire got all smug, and I realized it had made it." She's clearly proud of her balefire's abilities.

"Clem, it feels kind of weird getting an inheritance from her. Are you sure she meant me to have it?"

"you think it feels weird getting one, imagine giving her estate out. You're on the list, Short and Sassy'

She gives Clem a look. "I'm not that short."

"But you are that sassy, and I like alliteration. Sides, your dad made me promise not to call your rugmonster" A slip of a smile "but I'll work on something else then"

A wince. "Don't worry, I'll work on something for retaliation."

"oh now, Beltaine's tomorrow, let's remember peace is the answer. Speaking of which" she goes over to where she laid down a trunk "open it up ... she wanted you to have this."

Sylvi bites her lip and nods. She goes over and kneels by the trunk and carefully opens it up.

Sylvi takes them out carefully, smiling. "Wow...these were hers? Hearth Agnes had fun style! I never would have pictured...wait, did she and Mountain Emmit hang out back then?"

"He dragged her along" She says "more under it. But don't forget the jewelry. That ring and bracelet?"

"Oh, yessss," she says, taking a good look at the turquoise pieces.

The ring seems bulky compared to fashions of today, but it glimmers with glamour.

She looks at Clem. "Do you know what it does?"

"I asked her... it... lets you know if your romantic partner is safe." A blush "She put it away after someone died"

A blink. "Oh...poor Agnes." She bites her lip again, and carefully puts it on.

She feels it flicker and... somehow knows Colton is okay. she can almost smell him, feel a bit of his warmth just by concentrating
