beltaine at Goldfinch is an unadulterated hit! The Summer of Love returned theme works, and le bohme styles abound.

Sylvi rocks some of Agnes's floatier styles, and of course the new jewelry additions. A little judiciously-applied facepaint, too.

"Wow" says a voice, as Colton shows up

Sylvi turns to him after lighting some sandalwood incense. "Hey! Far out, man!" she drawls, giving him a smile. "Welcome to the pad! Or...whatever."

"I brought some beads..."

"Oooooh..." Sylvi's eyes might be lighting up, but it's hard to tell from behind her oversized sunglasses. "You sure did." She tugs a bit at his shirt. "Loving the out-of-uniform look."

"Does it need a headband?" A grin and he puts hands on her hips to bring them closer"And like any good hippie ... if I'm a soldier today i'm awol"

"Peace, man," she murmurs happily before giving him a warm welcoming kiss.

As it is returned, she can see Kelby . She's got a black belt on, a respect to her family's loss. But the rest is classic hippie

When they eventually come up for air, she says, "And yeah, a headband would totally work with that look. I think I've got something in the stash from ... oh, Kelby! Hey," a more subdued, empathetic tone. "You okay?"

"kind of still stunned" She admits 'But, I think this will help"

"I hope so. You know, I got the inspiration from Agnes." She explains a bit about the inheritance. "This was hers," she ends up, indicating the clothing.

"You're KIDDING?" Kelby blinks "Aunt agnes wore that?"

"I too am having my mind blown" Colton admits

Sylvi smiles and turns to put the outfit on full display. "So...Beltaine has gone 60s!"

"Groovy, Baby" Zane comes out, "Hope a jump across the pond works?"

"Oh! So Groovy!" Sylvi says with great appreciation.

etsie has her own clothes, and plays some Hendrix

The Goldfinch freehold is decorated with crepe-paper flowers of remarkable colors, bead curtains, lava lamps, and colorful lights.

And throw pillows everywhere.

Dagmar is late - she went to the Lodge's celebration first.

"Damn, you were tall enough" Lucita jokes

"Dagmar! Your hair!" Sylvi is agog. "It's gorgeous!"

She rumples it and shrugs. "You should see it when I wake up."

A grin as she offers Dagmar a drink (soda/beer, per her preference). "Careful. That sounds like an invitation." A wink.

She turns purple and mumbles as she takes her soda. Even with the costume, she's a square.

She gives Dagmar a shoulder-bump. "Kidding. Sorry, just..." A shrug. "Beltaine, y'know? And I'm feeling good and a little silly."

"Hey, everything good at the Lodge?"

"I know! I'm glad to be here." A shy smile. Dagmar doesn't visit that often, and she tries not to be obvious as her amber eyes search for a potential place to lurk at the sidelines.

"Uh, yeah. Pretty good."

RIkki comes in, her outfit very different

There are absolutely plenty of peripheral spots that are still part of the party.

Sylvi blinks at Rikki, then says, "Well, 1860s are fair game, sure!"

"BLah" Zane says

Rikki arches a brow "Harlots, the lot of you" then she smirks, and there's a zipper sound... and the outer dress and gear falls to reveal...

"Attagirl!" Sylvi cheers her on and tosses her a beer.

Some laughter, and a few wolf whistles from the crowd. rikkie catches the beer, then looks at Dagmar's hair "then I shall be groovy in the shade. Nice!" the 'nice' was true!

Sylvi gives Colton another hug, clearly happy at how well the party's going, and that he's here for it.

"Okay..." Another of those tentative smiles for Rikki.

But Sylvi's distraction DOES mean a chance to retreat to a place to hold up the wall.

It looks like there are a few other wilders who have decided to hold up the wall while others get romantic, drink, or even smoke pot.... as the smell is in the air
