He pulls out what appears to be a glass figurine about hand sized of two birds together

"Go head... sing to it" he suggests

She starts to say, "I didn't mean actually out loud..." But she's intrigued, and sings a couple lines of Blondie...

And they repeat it, it's her voice, but admitedly at a slightly higher octave, one after the other. It's a chorus

"Echo glass.. patent furking pending" The boy says proud

"That's AWESOME. Here, let me show you my idea... and you, you're the professional. You tell me."

She shows him her notebook -

This is the original Goldfinch Studios logo - since we're not affiliated with them TECHNICALLY but bought the name, we could update the logo just a bit. See, keep the art deco design, and add a goldfinch in the same style? Having it as a simple, modern outline in gold would be stunning.

She flips to the heraldric pattern - past the original design, and to the version that Dagmar adjusted.

"It doesn't need the color - I think it might look okay matchign the Studio logo? Unless you think a stained glass effect would pop?

If the Goldfinch COULD look like it's singing..." She grins hopefully. "That would be hella cool."

He looks over it "Huh... this ain't bad for an amateur who shouldn't touch glass. " He says in that mannerly way nockers have "SUre, now how about this... " He doodles and hands it back

Her eyes light up.

"What I could do for the mortal side is have the etching be vaguely prismatic, so no glamour needed, sunlight pouring through would cause it to change colors depending on the time of the day"

"I just had the idea, now my friends, they're the ones with the art-brains."

"That's fantastic. Could the glass be reinforced? I hate to think about it, but it was broken once already, even if that was probably just looters or kids messing with an empty building. Losing a new window would be a shame. Losing a window like THIS? A Tragedy."

"Like I said, I can make it as strong as steel. Now good news is, most mortals will assume plexi glass. but all the better. Hell, i could put a curse on the glass if you want, who breaks it regrets it. it's a transitive Mirror property"

A grin.... but she shakes her head. "I don't think I could afford THAT, as cool as it sounds."

"And I don't want you to sell your work short, from one artist to another."

"might be hard" A nod "What form of payment you hoping to make? I take dross, cash and sometimes favors or service...." He blushes "And by service I don't mean anything tawdry, let me be clear afore I get myself slapped"

"I can do cash on credit - like, installments, and I can give you references to vouch I'm good for it. Dross, I can do as well, and as far as services, um. I'm a professional singer, and I'm starting to work in voice and instrument tutoring. Uh.. do you need any studio space? Ever think of doing a video about glassblowing or glassworking?"

"Or teaching?"

"Oh shoot no.. on the teaching on camera.. furk I'm more polite mouthed than some, but hell... all it would take is me relaxin and I might say something get me banned" He does look tempted then a thought "Your gift of pan any good?"

"I'm excellent, and I have... well, goats call it Inspiration, it's something that crops up every couple generations. I can sing and do gift of pan, but inspire other things than, you know, lustful inhibition. Like, if it's a battlefield, I can inspire bloodthirsty hoo-doo, etc."

She grins. "Not to toot my own horn"

"Wait.. I think maybe you DO have coin to bargain with..." And he explains...
