"You found my brother?" Athasa lights up "Please, take me to him right away. He's a centaur. How weird is that?"

"Well, brace yourself when we get to Fenix." Jess advises, leaving the gang to swim home when they can. She leads both back to the car. "Rodolfo?"

Rodolfo peeks out "Hola?" then sees his sister "Athasa! This nice troll helped me. She's the flamefree. I TOLD you she was real"

Athasa sighs and looks to Jessica "I am so sorry. He believes in this 'legendary troll' " she makes air quotes "Who apparently rules all of the city now ... a great peacemaker and warrior both, who is a countess, but get this, also supports democracy. It's adorable but a bit embarrassing"

Holger says "It is no mere legend, this is Countess Jessica Flamefree, the liberator of Renaissance"

"Um. Well. Actually, yes. I am."

The girl's jaw drops open

"But we can sort this out when we're dry. Come on. Holger, take point?"

Holger nods "WIth honor" he did well today, and he knows it but will not boast. He does look a bit pleased this sidhe girl got corrected

And off they go to Fenix

"But the stories of you are too outrageous. That you over threw Rathbone, that you tried to deny a noble title only to end up as a Countess?" Athasa says

As they find shelter and towels and warm drink is brought. She moves them out of the way of the door. "Right, well. Yes. I mean.... I guess that happened but I can't speak about what you've heard." she dries off the worst of her hair and ... well, ok, it's hopeless.

Of course, Athasa's hair looks FANTASTIC wet or dry

"You ended up risking your life. You united the good nobles and the rebels, all that?" The older childling/almost a wilder goes on

Holger goes looking for Ellie or Salma

"Holger! Get washed up and dried off first. You can't serve if you're sick."

"Um, yes. I mean... I guess." She looks to see who's around.

Everyone is busy, just about everyone!

"Ok, um.... tell you what, come with me. Both of you." she includes Rodolfo.

And she leads them to the Balefire.

Rodolfo moves along. his mane now dry

"This is Fenix of Renaissance." she introduces.

"It's pretty" Rodolfo says gazing at the fire with delight "I've only seen a balefire once before"

Athasa bows to the flame "Thank you for your hospitality, Fenix Flame"

The fire was looking..distracted? Probably focused on dozens of other projects all over the city. But here it perks with curiosity, then sends out a curling ring of loose flame... forming a crown about Jessica's head that looks most impressive.

Jessica feels a bit of a humor and gentle teasing, but also a lot of pride as if to say 'and this is my holder and friend'

She smiles and puts her hands into the eldritch green flames.

"She likes you" The sidhe notes

"We are... bonded, I think. I hope."

She straightens to let the Bale do it's job.

"Tell you what, I'm not sure what our situation is right now and... well... everyone's kind of busy."

"Do you need more gangers womphed?" She offers her gem swinging flailr

"Um. Not just now."

"Are you guys hungry or anything?"

"Starving" The boy says then looks apologetic

"We haven't eaten since we came to the big city" Athasa says "not a real meal anyway"

"What city is this? Come with me." she invites and leads them to the kitchen.....still dripping a bit.

"Tijuana" SHe says following. Her brother moves along behind.

The kitchen is rather FULL... and busy! Maria and Rosalita are sending out supply packs of food for the shelter. It looks like a cauldron has sent at least 3 bath tubs of the stuff

"DINING ROOM" Maria starts to say testily then sees who it is "Pardon... but the dining area is better, no? We bring them something"

"Ok... OH... okay!!" she backs out "Sorry! Thank you!" She takes the other two to the dining room.

Many locals are there, and some she doesn't recognize... but they get up and bow, those that do recognize her, and make space at the head of the table for her and the others. Rodolfo looks a bit nervous at the crowd but his sister makes sure he gets a spot next to her

"Look, everyone, at ... at ease. Please. Just... I mean, relax."

"Can we get some dry things here?" she asks, and turns to the childling/wilders "Excuse me a moment or two, folks will take care of you for a bit. Ok? Food, drink, dry things?"

That's when a rolling cart with lots of food comes in. Pushed by a troll she may recognize.

"Here we go , folks" Vali says "We've got kitchens running full here and a few other places" As he pushes in the cart

"Vali???"

"Hey... I showed up to help deliver the food... next thing I know they've got me pushing carts" He looks more amused than insulted . He puts the food out "We've got comfort of home stuff for you guys. carnnitas, tortillas, some tacos, of course. ANd for the more exotic, some burgers and fries prepped, you'll have to put in your own condiments"
