the streets seethe with dreams of storm and rain though, chimera rising up as if in response to the fears of many

Jess uses the energy and alarm of the storm to invigorate herself. "Stay close with me, Holger."

Holger nods "Si, the dreams of nature, they are powerful no? Do you think Healer Fontaine is okay? " too late to check on him right now, as htey're on patrol

"I'd think he's in his element." she says dryly.

"I just worry it might get to his head one way or the other. He talks of the great ocean dreams as if they cast his kind out..." Holger turns then cocks his head, quieting

Holger says "Is hard to tell with all this water, I swear I heard something on that roof" He points up and to the side

Sure enough, Jessica thought she heard something akin to a wimper up there

She looks up through the weather, wiping her eyes clear. "Ok... hm." she looks around to see how she might climb up; outside stairs, door leading inward, other?

There is a fire escape but it's currently pulled up., As a troll she could probably reach it. Holger would need help or half to hopscotch

"What do you think about the fire escape?" she goes over and checks to see if she can get hold of it and pull it down.

OOC Meeting for an hour or so? BB ASAP

"I think we should go up it" he says as she grabs it and pulls it down "I can make it iwth a jump"

OOC: see you then (Pause)

OOC Back for a bit, then I have to figure out lunch.

OOC: Okay

"How about a boost? Safer in this weather when it's slippery." She offers a hand.

He takes it "Gracias," and lets her lift when she's ready

Up he goes!

And he scrambles up, and there's a click of a lever... and the fire escape lowers before her entirely. Not that she couldn't have pulled herself up, but it's the thought that counts

"Thanks." up she goes.

She and he head on up further to the roof, it's tricky slippery but they have each other and they're both trolls with strong grips. Still, when she gets to the ledge of the roof...

There's a centaur boy there. He's about 7 years old... and he's freaking out

In spanish he's muttering "I'm gonna drown I'm gonna drown I'm gonna drown..."

"Hola, tranquillo....." Jess says in the same "I'm Jessica King. What's your name?" as she approaches careful not to crowd him.

"My name is Rodolfo" He says calming just a bit "You are the great Jessica King?"

"Si!" Holger says "The flamefree herself. Do not fear the water, we will carry you if we must. Are you hurt?"

"Si. My front left leg... I hurt it going up" Rodolfo says showing it. Looks bruised. She doubts it's broken

"Ok, no problemo. We'll help you down and get you safely to somewhere we can get that looked at. Is that ok?"

"Gracious, Flamefree... I am sorry. I am a coward when it comes to water" He says

"That's ok." she soothes "Can you stand?"

"Si" he rises carefully avoiding weight on the aforementioned leg "But walking is slow"

Holger nods "It is good. We are on patrol so it is good we found you"

Rodolfo nods then asks "Did you find my sister?"

"You're the first we've seen. Where did you last see her? Is she Fae?"

"There was a wash in the streets, and I ran... she told me not to panic" He looks ashamed "Si, she is a changeling too"

Holger NOW frowns. Clearly he does not respect the idea of deserting your own sister

"What kith?" she asks gently "Can you get down the fire escape, or do we need the stairs?"

"She is a sidhe" he says "of the shining host"

"And.." He swallows as he looks down at the water all on the streets. Less than a foot deep even at its deepest but he looks panicy

"I'm six and a half feet tall, Rodolfo. I'm not going to let you get hurt. I promise, and that's a troll's promise. What street did you lose sight of her?"

"About two blocks that way I think? I.. I was in a panic and running. I lost her" he points in a general.. southernely direction

"Ok. Do you want to go look for her with us, or should we take you to Fenix Freehold?"

"do.. do I have to touch the water?" Rodolfo asks
