She considers "Probably best to send a letter .. maybe that would be enough?"

"Is he here? Or were the flowers just delivered?"

"Just delivered" She answers

"Well, it came in on the fourth" She clarifies

"Probably a prank. Ok. A letter will do, thanks. I'll write it but can you, um, polish it up?"

"A prank?" Ash raisees a brow "Countess. The man is real."

"You checked?"

"I'm a sidhe. We all know each other" Dryly, then the Granddam chuckles "Yes. I checked. I..may have overstepped but if I had found out it was a joke I'd have thrown it away. You don't need that nonsense"

"Thank you. Ok. Not a prank. I'll write a letter, and you'll check it?"

"Be happy too. Constance is rather busy. I can even deliver it if you like?"

"Yes, thanks. Where's the flowers?"

"In the side parlor, somewhat out of the way but not insultingly so" She says

"Thanks." She heads to that space.

And sure enough, she finds it. Big and extravigant

A sigh as she stares at it.

She looks it over; a note anywhere?

There's the letter, declaring Don Juan D'Amour's admiration and interest in a marriage of political alliance

She reads it, dutifully.

And his name is on it

As much as she dislikes it, she takes it with her to her chambers. She puts it down, to be reviewed after some little distance, much like the oath. For now....she must rest.

She picks up the flowers and they begin to sing of her beauty and strength, of her courage...
