She nods and goes to see the gentleman.

Olgar is enjoying some good grub and talking to Emmit

"Hey. Am I intruding?" softly as she approaches.

"Your home, honey" Emmit smiles, "Have a seat."

"Yeah, Jess, pull up a chair. You want a beer?" Olgar offers, "They're cold"

"Thank you. And yes." she takes a weary pull on the beer. "How are you both feeling?"

"Been worse" Olgar says with a shrug "Bit tapped on glamour but I'll be okay. Not my first dream insertion. Inception ain't got shit on me." A chuckle

"That was pretty wild. Thank you, both of you, for the help. Otem is a lynchpin in this whole enterprise."

Emmit says, "I think I'm better off than Olgar actually. You and he made it a lot easier to get my magic going. Mind you, reweaving is never 'easy' but the fact that young man had the courage to let me do my thing helped"

She nods. "He -is- brave."

Olgar nods "You and he, good friends?"

"I'd like to think so. It would be an honor."

"Well, the Dreaming certainly likes him, I'll tell you that" Emmit admits "Da'an has blessed him for his quest."

Jessica exhales, relieved "That is good to hear, sir."

"Jessica..." Emmit says "He can still touch the fire."

Olgar arches a brow "Wait, what? Can he still harvest from nature like other nunehi?"

"Of course, I made sure of that" Emmit smirks "Not my first rodeo either, Rover. Though in this case, Da'an more than my own brilliance made it so. It's his reward."

"He's a member of Fenix, and Renaissance; he has a Right to Hospitality, of course. And Rescue, for that matter."

"Jessica, Nunnehi can't use balefire, it's the basis for why they're pissed at us." Olgar says something she may already know "We take their glades, set up freeholds, and cut them out. This is... pretty big news"

"I suggest he keep his yap shut about this new ability until he's sure his 'true nunnhi hood' won't be questioned" Emmit observes "Also.. might want to keep it under some hats that a non nunnehi knows his true name. "

"I don't disagree, Uncle. Just saying that he's a right to the 'Fire if he wants it and needs it. The fact that he can use it now is... extra."

"And yes, sir, I agree." to Emmit.

"Well, " Emmit gives a 'Scouts honor' gesture "You know me well enough to know it's sealed tight.. I won't share that name with anyone"

Olgar nods, takes a swig, then laughs

"Of course you won't, and I thank you."

"Hey" Olgar says "You know what's REALLY funny?"

"What?" she doesn't seem particularly light-hearted.

"The guy could now rule a fief and hold if he wanted to" Olgar grins "Hell, he'd be a lot better at it than some sidhe i know"

She nods slowly. "That's... a point."

"Well, he should get a lodge immediately" Emmit chuckles "That would be a proper set up."

"We might be biased, Emmit, towards lodge work" Olgar nods

"Little bit" Emmit nods "Jokes aside. Fine young man"

She nods, still thoughtful and dark-eyed.

"What's eating at you, Jess?" Olgar says "You got stormclouds in your eyes"

She tells them of the situtation at Sunkissed Waves, and her reaction to it. ".... if he's in there torturing that Nunnehi...." it's almost a growl.

Emmit scowls "Have to say, I am not too fond of Varich. Why there's a lovely sluagh girl I know that if they got their hooks on her, I'd likely to get riled."

Olgar says "Not a sluagh, a nunhehi, not that torture is condoned either way. Hopefully that's a line he won't cross when you made it clear you didn't approve, but I see why you're steamed"

"-AND- he was laying there in the room when I sent the guys to go get both prisoners. He heard me say it before we left. He -knew-."

"Huh. Seems awful cheeky for a guy who just nearly died" Olgar ponders "Miscommunication possible?"

"He was in the room, Olgar" Emmit reminds

She takes a deep breath in, then slowly out; they see Frank in the gesture, calming oneself and taking possession. "If the guys aren't back with him soon, I'm going back there."

Olgar nods "You want help?"

"Thanks, but no. These -is- my circus, and my monkeys. And clowns."

"He maybe counting on the life debt to give him some forgiveness" Emmit says "I don't much like Varich. Too cold. Too controlling. "

"Now now, Nadeen's not so bad." Olgar reminds

"Nadeen had Rivervale teaching and Dagmar riding herd" Emmit reminds

"True"

"He saved my life, I figured out there was a Nunnehi cure, Otem went and -got- the cure....seems like we're all balanced out but...." she shrugs.

It is at that time, Diego peeks in, "Jessica. Guess who is here"

"Who??" She stands, alert, focused.
