The Balor arriving bears the mark of his house on his face. His deformity making his eyes look vaguely serpentine. He bows to them both

"Sir Sedgewick. The Countes and I have a task for you"

"Of course, how may I serve you, your excellency?" The snake eyed balor bows to Jessica

She offers the arrowhead on the flat of her hand "Can you help us track this back as far as we can to the one who fired it?"

"I shall enddeavor to do so" He takes it, and turns it end over end

And a wisp begins to form as he speaks to it "We are going hunting, you and I. We are seeking the beginning. You and I. "

And a lazy wisp forms and slowly makes it's way

They follow the wisp, two sidhe and a troll. A pooka would make a joke of this. They travel on... it weaves away from the beach...

and hugs the edge of the tourist area

"Hm. Tourists come and go; lack of roots. Easier to infiltrate and exploit?" to the Baron.

"Possibly... they do draw attention from my subjects though. We watch for the banal ones, and hope for the dreamers"

"Of course."

Sedgewick keeps movving, a hand near his hilt as they follow.

Jessica's maul is unsheathed and to hand.

To mortal eyes, they look a bit odd, not that many mortals see them. But there they are, 'skulking' with hands in odd placements.

Jess is aware of the Right of Ignorance, but also concerned with putting an end to the conflict between her people and the Nuneehi.

The wisp curls about the corner...

and they follow, looking for clues...

and then, Tidemarch looks up, then shoves the Countess to the side "Look out"

Another arrow, this one from above, flies towarrds Jessica. Tidemarch pushes her to the side (Barely, she's big), but fails to retract his arm which is then pierced by the arrow!

Above them on the high ground, is a Nunnehi in war paints with a bow

Jess takes heed lunging away in the direction the Baron shoved her,then spins and looks for the attacker(s) from cover.

She finds partial cover, and she can see the balor knight joining her, pulling his liege along. Sedgewick hisses, "On the high fence, the top of it. How the savage balances himself I'm not sure. I can destroy the fence but I need a moment to bunk"

"Go ahead." Jess says, and takes the time to check on the Baron.

"He meanns he needs a distraction, Countess" the Baron says looking at his arm "extrodinary, I do believe this is poisoned"

"We need reenforcements, and you need immediate care."

"It's one man, and we are nobles" The Varich says dabbing at his wound, he marks the blood down his arm "By the pricking of my harm, I call your doom as I call alarm" And he casts

It was probably meant to be an amazing cantrip of power.. .instead, it creates thunder but nothing the Nuennehi truly fears. It does however, distract him a bit...

and the Balor steps out and finishes his bunk... releasing his own spell to...

Hurl the Nunnehi down from his perch with legedermain, slamming the bowman down on the ground before Jessica's feet!@

She pins him there with the head of her maul while kicking his weapons away from him.

Jessica presses, but the ground is soft and the Nunnehi pulls away

She tries thumping him (gently) with her maul.

The Balor has not been lax during this, and slashes at the Nunnehi

He draws blood on the raider, but it's a shallow strike
